Study this video very carefully for things you should do. Then hire someone to record you doing the following. Serenade her and then post it on youtube and your myspace/facebook. If she responds positively, awesome, she'll seem like a great person that can take a joke. If she responds negatively, she'll seem like a total b!+<# then proceed to submit it to reddit and digg as well as posting the video here, it'll become popular for trying. Just live your life and let the chips fall where they may, or your over-analysis of everything will shine through like a poopy beacon. Don't over-analyze. Take a break from analyzing. Test yourself - how long can you go without trying to understand the hidden meaning in something? The longer, the better, because most things don't have hidden meanings.
@WAM - She whined a lot. There would be days I would just want to be alone and play video games or go to the park with my friends to shoot hoops and she would start crying. I would have played basketball on the school's team, but all I did was baseball. Before I had her as a girlfriend, I would obsess over this older girl in my school and I was incredibly paranoid and worried about doing everything right and her girlfriends told me I was being a douche and a major turnoff. You're getting some good advice from people when they say to play it cool and act natural. If she likes you, she will like you for who you are, not what you think she wants you to be.

Play hard to get. If she starts talking to you, act like you are too busy to talk or say you are going out with friends, even if you aren't. Put something on your status update on Myspace that will get her attention. Maybe mention something about the new school, or mention something that you to converse a lot about (but don't make it seem obvious you are trying to get her attention lol). Or start talking about another girl to her. That's one of the ways I got my wife
EDIT: Also, a little word of advice, if you allow yourself to get this worked up over the fact she didn't respond to your text right away, you're going to be in for a world of hurt. Seriously, just relax. If you get that worked up over stuff like that, you could end up driving people away, or at least driving yourself crazy.

BTW I had another question. A few weeks ago when we were texting I said: "I can't wait to go to the school! It's by EVERYTHING!"
She said: "Haha I just woke up. But yeah its cool cause we can go to the movies and out to dinner after school...its good for dates hahaha"
