That's complete BS about your college fund. I hope you get that back.
You should check out some community college programs. My friend went to school for two years, cost him about $1,000 in tuition a semester and graduated making $60k as an auto mechanic (twice as much as I made out of school from a top 50 4 year university), even in the recession there's still a huge demand for them. A lot of medical technician type jobs are out there too, and you won't be facing years of debt. Something I wish I had considered more strongly before I rushed off to blow all my savings on a 4 year school.
I'm happy where I am, but you may just want to look at your local school's programs. A lot of these programs have open enrollment too, so it doesn't matter so much what your grades are (though obviously, for pretty much any program, at least SOME of your HS courses will be somewhat relevant).
Btw, my day was good. Bought a new DSlite for $95 off ebay to play gba games and trade pokemans.
Annoying. Getting fallout 3 trophies is rather annoying and tediously long.
Also I woke up at 12am so my body clock is screwed up and now I got a headache.

Today was great! I went with my cousin to walmart, and I started off with 100 bucks in my wallet. First I bought the new Nintendo Power (which I really wanted because it had previews of sonic 4 and scribblenauts 2). Then we went to Gamestop and there I bought 2 nintendo points cards and Sonic Classic Collection for DS (wasn't planning on buying it, but my cuz thought why not). Then we ate at Wendy's, and ended up going to the mall, where I bought a PSN card. On the way home we listened to the 2 CDs my cuz bought. Then at my house my parents left and my cousin and I spent the whole time playing LittleBigPlant, and used the PSN card ($20) to buy downloadable levels and cousumes. Then after 2 hours of that, we Redeem the 2 nintendo points cards and bought Excitebike Wiiware and Mega Man 10 (saving the last of the 2000 points for sonic 4 and maybe something else). While downloading them I played Sonic Classic Collection (don't see why everyone doesn't like it, it has a few flaws, but its still fun). Then I FINNALY beat Jasmine on HeartGold! After they finished downloading, my cuz and I toke turns playing Excitebike (sadly no Mega Man, still have to play it), and it sooooo fun. Then my parents came home, and then I noticed it was 10:30, so my cuz left. I was hungry, then noticed my parents brought home Arby's for me (YUM!!!). Finnaly, my brother came home, and he bought Heavy Rain, and we're installing it right now.
Man, today was so great! I never have days like this!
I thought today was a good day today. I progressed some more in SNES The Lost Vikings, and I started a Guessing Game Thread (which is doing good so far). Overall, good day.
lots of unexpected errands and cold rainy weather. other than that its all good. got my honey bbq chicken strips

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
^^My school charged $10,000 for one year's tuition (public, in state), add room and board and you're looking at $20,000. If you don't have any savings at all, to graduate with that little debt, you have to either hope fafsa really comes through for you, work about 3 jobs at a time, or go to a two year school and transfer.
Also, your loan bills will start coming when you're making $30,000, not $50,000 unless you got a degree in engineering, nursing, computer science, or business. When you graduate, student loans can seem pretty crushing.
For most people, it's totally worth it. However, you have to weigh your options. Will you be happier going to a two year college and transferring, and possibly not having to work a second part time job in the evenings to make your student loan payments when you get out or is it worth it for the 4 year experience? Do your parents have good enough credit to cosign the loans and get decent interest rates? If not, if you spend all four years at a university, will you have to work 2-3 part time jobs while you study to pay tuition and eat? Will you be able to succeed in your classes if you are working 40+ hours a week too? I think lots of people think spending four years at an expensive university, when there are ways to get to the same place (a job that pays a comfortable wage that you don't hate), without following that road exactly, and many people are burdened with much more debt then they really need to have.
That's the thing, not everyone NEEDS to go to an expensive four-year university. Don't know where you're going but around me I have UF and UCF, two very good universities, and they only charge around 4000 a year for tuition.
There are cheap college options and unless you live somewhere pretty remote, there's usually a college close enough so that you can commute from your current residence. I have at least three all within a 30 minute drive from me.
Then there's FAFSA, Bright Futures for those in Florida (guessing everyone else has something similar), local scholarships, and then the college/university usually offers a bunch of scholarships.
I think it's been made pretty easy, at least in my state, to find a good affordable college option. The only people really taking out student loans that I know of, are those that think they NEED to go to a state university with all their BFFs even though they can't afford it and got no help from scholarships, or those going to med school (which should really pay off) or something else that is mostly out of everyone's price range.
My day was full of heart and soul, because my memories of Gold kept me warm, and I didn't have any heart/soul deficient game telling me that they actually did contain heart/soul. q:
I'm having a good day so far. I actually was able to fix a dead N64 analog stick without replacing parts and with out anyone giving me tips on how to do it.
