Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
As for Darwin, it always fascinates me that some American Republicans are so keen to apply Darwinian ideas to the economy and yet not for what the theory was actually intended for. From what I can tell many of these Republicans are from rural areas where people actually select animals to breed for certain characteristics. How they can't imagine this on a grander scale is beyond me.
It's not that creationists discount evolution entirely. Many, myself included, accept microevolution. It's just that there has been no time for macroevolution in the 6000 years or so since life on this planet was created according to the Bible.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

No i get angry because everyone talks just of them and not about the other 6 million people who got killed. Its like the other 6 million people are just 2nd class and not important.
I'd say that's because the Jews were disproportionately affected -- around 1/3rd of the global population at the time? Millions more were killed, but the Jews were a pet project of Hitler's and are the largest single grouping killed in the Shoah, though I see little value in comparing genocides. All are abhorrent; I find it incredibly depressing that they continue to happen because we learn no lessons from the past and have no apparent will to take action to stop them.
