I was in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat just this year for our middle school play. I was the brother Benjamin. It was made by the guy who did Jesus Christ Superstar.

Should I began with myself working with Degree level students or writing my own production? Basically I've been in more than a few. I have an audition for Children of Eden coming up and I'll be performing in Theatre Severn with the rest of my College for another dance show. I'm currently extensively studying Konstantin Stanislavski, he ruined his class' first rehearsal o.O
In Grade 5 ( three years ago) I was in Snow White Goes Rock n' Roll ( a fractured fairytale) , and I was the woodsman, and I even had my own musical solo!!!!!!!!
Eh I was probably in a Christmas play. I also was David when I was a preschooler. Oddly enough I remember it. I missed Goliath on my first sling but got him with the second lol
I think I might try to terminate my account. I'm not cut out for posting on forums lol
I was in several plays and musicals in high school (by choice). If memory serves, I was in 5 1/2 to be exact, plus a handful of smaller one act productions. I say I was in half of one because I literally participated in half of the rehearsals as an understudy, before developing a severe ear infection in both ears that caused both ears to rupture. When I returned to school, after a week of absences, I was pretty much deaf in both ears. After a week of rehearsals in which I couldn't hear any of my cues, let alone the instructions the director was giving, I decided to sit that one out. Fortunately, my hearing soon returned, and I've suffered no real permanent damage from that ordeal.
@JarvanZheitk: I would suggest working with degree level students and being involved with as many productions as possible in as many ways as possible (acting, stage managing, designing make-up, designing costumes, designing sets, designing lights, etc.) to find out which part of the theater that you truly love the most. But all the while, you could continue to be writing your own productions and finding people to do them with you while you are involved in these other productions. I'm glad you enjoyed my paragraph!!!! lol Are you studying theater in college?
Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight O Lord my strength and my redeemer." :) The Godloggery I finally finished my backloggery!!!! WOOHOO!!!! :) lol [url=ht...
I was Mary in my last year of being young enough to be in a church play. lol Other than that, I'm not into theatre stuff because I think it's just kind of... well, I will not say because I don't want to offend. I'm into music though, I love playing my electric bass.
I was one of the main characters in an elementary school performance of Oliver Twist, but backed out at the end and played the guy who shouts "Stop, thief!"
In sixth grade I had a lead role in some musical that involved ice yetis and Eskimos and Northern Lights and such.
I tried out for a high school production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), and made it to the final round of auditions, but ended up not being cast.
