Topic: Has anyone here ever been in a play?

I just wanted to know, because I've already been in two. If you have been in a play, what was it?

I worked spotlight #4 in my school's production of Willy Wonka Jr., so I'm kind of a big deal. Won't brag about it though.

I was in a few when I was younger. I had a quite a bit of fun, but eventually I got bored of it. That, and I couldn't sing.

thats all we do at my job were i work all teachers put on shows only on fri for kids thats been doing good in they class room we did 3 lil pig it came out "TRILL"...

I have been involved in community theater for the last 3 or 4 years. Performing in several plays and musicals. I am currently directing for the first time. I am directing a one-act called The First Date.

I was in two plays when I was in about 1st grade or something.

I was in a few obvious plays in middle school. I love to act.

Nah; my brother's the theater guy. He's got a partial scholarship to the college he's at right now for doing theater stuff. He's actually bummed because he didn't get a role in any productions, which is the first time this has happened since his freshman year in high school (he's in his 2nd trimester of his 1st year in college).

I've been in three school musicals since 8th grade, and am currently in a production of Stage Door at the moment.

Just one. I had to participat in a production of Hamlet that was mandatory for everyone in my high school senior class.

It was an interesting interpretation. Hamlet was played by two actors who were on the stage at the same time. One acted out Hamlet's sanity, and other acted out his madness.

Yes, and I played Hatty Hattington, and in the play I found a terrible hat and I imprisoned my best friend to perform for my entertain-wait, no, that's the plot to Battleblock Theater. No, I've never been in a play.

I was in a Christmas play once when I was about 6 or 7.
It was about baby Jesus and the three wise men. I was dressed as a little shepherd boy.
I'm surprised I actually remember that. LOL.

I was the Beast in Beauty and the Beast my senior year of high school, and had various roles on other productions throughout middle and high school as well

I was in a play when I was in sixth grade. Dont exactly remember the name of it or even the characters names in it. All I really remember it is I played some wizard type of part that was obsessed with numbers and math lol.

Also when I was in fifth grade I was in my schools talent show.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Theater. lol So I've been in some plays!!!! lol Starting with High School, here's what I've been in: I was in a play called "The Nerd" by Larry Shue, and I was the title role of The Nerd; I got to portray Nick Bottom in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"; I played the father of the main character in a play that my high school theater teacher wrote called "Others Pretend"; I played the role of the Slave in Euripide's Tragedy "Medea" (which has nothing to do with Tyler Perry); I portrayed the main character (who was a little boy) in a Reader's Theater play called "Look to the River" by William A. Owens; and during my senior year of college we did a monologue show called "In the West" which was a collection of monologues about people from the western part of the United States and my monologue was entitled "Big Tex and the Book of Genesis" in which I was explaining to my grandson how Big Tex (which is the name of the giant Cowboy statue at the entrance to the Texas State Fair) created Texas in seven days!!!! lol But more so than plays, I perform a lot of drama for the various ministries that I am involved with. I've portrayed Jesus many, many times; I've directed dinner theaters for churches, I've performed many skits for various ministries, and I am in charge of the drama at the Christian family resort that I work at in upstate New York in the summer times called Camp-of-the-Woods!!!! Camp-of-the-Woods is a fantastic place to go on vacation at in the summer time if you are ever looking for a place to go on vacation with your family.
