Actually, "warui" is bad in Japanese. Wario is a semi-pun on the sound of warui. Waluigi in Japanese would sound like "waruiji", which is similar too.

@Rensch Bug catching is a popular kids' pastime in Japan. You'll notice there's a lot of Japanese video games and anime with bug-catching kids.

A fact/observation i made a few months ago: All the members of the Snake Family in MGS are related to the 3 three states of matter: Solid and Solidus Snake, Liquid Snake, and Naked Snake (Naked i heard is also another way of saying the noble gases making it gas)

Holy crap. I play as Wario a lot on Brawl (so I win a lot, obviously), AND I've played Shake It a lot (and love the music), yet I've never noticed =D

Fact: Pac-Man was originally called "Puck Man" in Japan where it was originally released, but the name was changed for fear of gamers changing the name to "F*ck Man" on the cabinet and in reference to the game.
