Topic: Gaming Fun Facts!

Ok, I tried to find the original thread I made of the same title, but to no avail. So, unless someone finds that thread, this is the new version.

Basically, write down any fun or cool facts about any games, like this:
Fun Fact: Shigeru Miyamoto was a boy scout in his youth.

Fact: Nintendo is awesome.

FACT - Final Fantasy IV is better than Final Fantasy VI.

Please no personal opinions. Just facts about the games.

Fact: FFIX takes place on a world that has the same name as FFVII's unnamed world.

Edit: Also, there is a town in the first FF with the same name also!

Fact: A Kirby game for Wii, called "Kirby of the Stars", has been on the release list in Japan for a few years.

well PSP is by far the most successful non nintendo handheld, but they both offer such different products I don't consider them competitors exactly, also gamegear didn't come close to gameboy, but seemed more like competition IMO.

Fact: Shenmue started life as a Saturn game

don't know much about the wonderswan other than it had square support, played neogeo pocket though, that was a great system, both used buttons and d-pad so played in the same fashion as gameboy, touch screen to me anyway, made the DS a whole new type of handheld.
