Topic: Games you like that people hate

Despite how much I kinda hate arms, I do love it to a lot, and I can see why people hate it, I wouldn't really want a part 2, but That game is just fun.

(Also I played a trail and Don't actually own the game)

@Snatcher ARMS is my favorite game on Switch. It's only real problem is it doesnt have a whole lot of content. Which reminds me...
Soul Calibur 5. Yeah, less content than most other entries. But it plays well and that's what matters. Fighting games really don't need a ton of modes, or an overly drawn out story coughsoulcalibur6 to be good.
Twisted Metal 4. I would argue this holds up best out of the PS1 entries, but no one gave it a chance because 3 kinda sucked.
Gravel. Gets shat on for not being Dirt Rally. Dirt Rally is a better game, but I had more fun playing Gravel.
Slice, Dice, and Rice. Gets shat on for lack of online, a mode that would have been a ghost town had they included it. People mad they can't twiddle their thumbs waiting for a match that never appears.
1080 Avalanche. Not so much hated as forgotten. Poor game was completely buried by SSX3.

@Losermagnet Yep, the Dragon Lord, while more of a puzzle/environmental boss is easily my favorite in the game. Flame Lurker...Even after all these years I still have to PAY ATTENTION or he lets me know he's...hot

@judaspete I agree, it just needed more content.

Y'know, I'll actually go with Star Fox Command as well. Which is weird, I remember people being pretty positive about that game when it came out but that seems less true nowadays. I liked it a lot.

Also Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I have no idea why people don't like those games. I distinctly remember not too long after beating Blue Rescue Team talking about it on a forum and no one except me liked it. It's not like they hated Pokemon or anything, so it was so weird.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is an amazing game with stunning graphics, quirky characters, and fun RPG elements. Feel free to combat me I want to say how good this game is.

While for the most part this game is pretty well received, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
If you partake in the xenoblade community like me or at least interacted with people from it you'll find thats it considered by alot the black sheep of the franchise (either 2 or X).
Imo this is one of the best JRPGs this gen or even in the last few years.
It has a great, story, fun and engaging combat thats very versatile that you can modify to your liking, great characters and a huge and beautiful world.
I think what turns some people away from this game are the bad tutorials that don't explain the depth of the combat at all, some moments where the voice acting is inconsistent from some cast members and some scenes with some anime tropes.
But these things didn't bother me in the slightest, its still one of my favorite switch games period.
