Are there any games like/similar to fire emblem?
If you do answer this question please be sure to:
-Make sure the games haves a similar battle animation and movement style FE
-Do NOT list a game that require you to build your own town. (I honestly really LOATHE those type of games.....takes a while for the buildings to build and level up)
-list only browser based PLEASE! My computer does not support anything that have to be downloaded.

Browser based games? I'd go for the Battalion series of flash games, except they're more Advance Wars clones than anything. I can't think of one where you need to build up your characters RPG-style off the top of my head though.

If you don't mind a straight up turn-based RPG though, the MARDEK games are as good as it gets.
