Butch Hartman (Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, T.U.F.F. Puppy) I love Butch Hartman's cartoons. His sense of humor is very reminiscent of Chuck Jones, and his art style is very unique.
Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack) He is brilliant. Samurai Jack was the best cartoon ever made, with an incredibly unique art style. It's a shame he hasn't been doing much lately.
Craig McCracken (Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends) He made a show about butt-kicking girls cool. And Foster's is a very weird and funny cartoon.
Butch Hartman was only the writer/director of some episodes. The show was created by Van Partible (never heard of him either).

Many of the writers and directors on the series went on to become famous for their own projects (writer Seth MacFarlane for Family Guy and writer/director Butch Hartman for The Fairly OddParents).
He made all the older episodes. Which is why they're totally awesome and better than his recent work by a mile. He lost it when he went to Nickelodeon.
