This is the thread to discuss your favorite Nintendo content creators, whether they're primarily YouTubers, Twitch streamers, or some other third thing. (If you say Tik-Tokers, get out now.) Let's raise awareness of some of the creators who mean the most to us, so we can help them get all the support in terms of views, followers, and donations they deserve!
Format it however you like--make a top 10 list of your faves, give a shout-out to one specific creator who you feel is underrated, explain how someone out there has touched your life, or discuss your excitement for what upcoming videos a certain YouTuber has in the pipeline. A streamer you love is about to do a playthrough of your favorite game of all time? Let us know!
Just remember to keep it wholesome; this isn't a thread to rag on creators you don't like--even if you think they're terrible people. If you say you aren't personally a fan of so-and-so's content, that's fine; everyone has different tastes and opinions. But I don't want this to devolve into a toxic place where snide remarks are made about the characters of others. They are are still people, and that kind of drama isn't needed here. So, let's try to keep it positive!
Addendum: I did post this in the "General Discussion" thread, so I don't guess the conversation has to focus solely on Nintendo content. So, if you have a favorite YouTuber who plays Xbox or PlayStation games instead, or someone who discusses movies, TV shows, etc., feel free to include them as well! It might be best to keep it nerdy, though--if you happen to really like a YouTuber who does content covering American football, you probably aren't gonna find much of an audience here--sorry!

https://www.change.org/p/anmtvla-pokemonlatam-español-latino-en-los-juegos-de-pokémon - let's help this petition for Latin American Spanish be add to Pokémon games and with that may increase chance that in future Pokémon games adds more languages. :)
-The Runaway Guys: Not just the single Let's Play channel but all three of their solo stuff and enough of the people associated with them are probably like the majority of the LP Youtubers I've ever really gotten into. Just a consistent group of quality people making quality Let's Plays, for a long while now.
-TheStrawHatNo!: By far my favorite Let's Play channel, even though I've not watched them a ton in recent years. Genuinely some of the funniest Let's Plays out there, without the comedy overtaking the game. Most underappreciated channel, easily.
-SuperBunnyHop: The rare actual journalist in game journalism, who always makes super well made, interesting videos about various things across gaming. It is funny that my most watched video of his, is just a random retro review of Megaman Legends, a game I love that he just thought was ok.
-Todd in the Shadows: Very entertaining music reviewer that is able to go into most subjects with an interesting, semi-comedic perspective that's been consistently worth watching and rewatching for a long time.
-Scott the Woz: Probably the only person still doing AVGN style videos that I still find consistently funny (well at least when he's the only one in the video), and is able to address very Nintendo fandom specific stuff that I personally really appreciate
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)
Favorite Quote: "Childhood is not from birth to a certain age and at a certain age the child is grown, and puts away childish things. Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies." -Edna St. Vincent Millay
I don't really watch that much YouTube anymore, but I guess it would still be MasaeAnela as my favorite.
I also like watching AttackingTucans. And I like TyranitarTube too.
I also really enjoy PewDiePie's Minecraft/Hardcore series.
Chuggaconroy for let’s plays
Sullypwnz’s old videos were good but ever since he took his long break all he does is Mario party. But for Mario and Luigi/ paper Mario let’s plays he is the goat.
For just general gaming videos I go for peanut butter gamer and antdude, arlo, and from time to time beatemups
For news Spawn wave is the only one who doesn’t make clickbait in every video. He just does good content.
Anything Jon makes is an instant classic
I used to like the nintendolife discussions but ever since Jon left it just feels like something is missing in them
For Zelda content I watch maskednintendobandit and occasionally zeltik and hyrule gamer.
For non gaming I like Tom Grossi for sports and bombastic for Star Wars.
One of my favorite content creators is actually a good friend of mine!
Yoshibrothers17 on Twitch
And actually, after reading your comments on the LGTB+ article, I think you might enjoy him as well @Not_Soos. He's a Christian content creator who focuses on mostly wholesome content, but still plays a wide variety of games and is very inclusive. I actually didn't know how to reach out after the comment section was closed and this proved to be the perfect opportunity! Hope you check him out and decide to join the Discord.
Perhaps dantdm because he manages to be funny and generally pretty wholesome (though every Christmas he plays just dance while wearing a Santa onesie)
And Nathaniel bandy for his triggered/mind blowing series along with his challenge videos and his Mario rom hacks videos. He’s also (maybe) unique because some of his videos tell a story.
Will do, thanks for the recommendation! 🙂 Does he have a YouTube channel? I definitely spend more time watching YouTube than I do Twitch, bit l'll still be sure to check him out! Pretty much the only Twitch streamer I watch regularly is Deebeegeek, who is awesome. His videos have quite a bit of cursing, but he's an incredibly wholesome and nice guy. Very humble and constantly tells his community how appreciative he is of their viewership. He's also incredibly funny. If you aren't bothered by swearing, he's definitely one worth checking out.
He's an Irish content creator who grew up with a Game Boy and NES, but he stepped away from Nintendo when the Genesis came out and afterward went to PlayStation. Now, he's going back and catching up on all the Nintendo games he missed out on! Since starting his Nintendo journey in late 2020, he's played every 2D Metroid, and every 3D Zelda except for Skyward Sword. He just started playthroughs of Phantom Hourglass, Celeste, and Sonic Adventure this past week. (He's only really played the Genesis Sonic games, so now he's going back and doing the 3D ones as well.)
Like I said, he's an incredibly wholesome and entertaining guy. I wish he didn't drop so many f-bombs, but if you can look past that, his humor rarely involves making dirty jokes like, say, Game Grumps. He has a YouTube channel under the same name where he uploads edited-down versions of his Twitch streams as well as other kinds of content not on his Twitch. He's quickly become my favorite creator, and I can't recommend his stuff enough!
@Not_Soos I'll have to check him out! And Yoshibrothers17 doesn't really have a YouTube channel yet, but it's something we hope to build. Along with a podcast later down the line
I only follow a couple YouTubers, and they all talk about news, reviews and/or make analysis videos. I never watch Let's Plays and stuff like that, nor am I on Twitch.
Nintendo Life
Good Vibes Gaming
Easy Allies
Arlo

If you're into movies, I can recommend the following:
Currently MIA for exams; see you all in a bit! o7
Mario Maker 2 Maker ID: YT1-0Q2-YFF
Please ask for permission before using my FC! Currently Playing: Yoshi's Story (N64)
LGR (PC retro gaming and computer) Scott the Woz Matt McMuscles (Mostly his Wha Happun? series) DidYouKnowGaming? Adrian's Digital Basement (Retro computer repairs and some retro gaming. He actually did 5-6 videos on an Atari 520ST I donated to him. He's local-ish to my area) GVMERS (Literally some of the best documentary-style video game history videos ever produced on YT. They are so underrated.) Ashens (Hilarious retro crap. Literally. Junk you find on AliExpress and dollar stores) Caddicarus (Moving to quarterly videos was a smart move. 60-90 minute videos on topics mostly related to PlayStation. He's awesome. Like a British Scott the Woz) Game Sack Sega LordX (Like Game Sack this guy is everything Sega) MMOByte (Lots of insight and news on MMOs) Noclip (OG video game documentaries. Founded by an ex-GameSpot journalist) Retro Game Mechanics Explained (Literally what's on the tin) RMC - The Cave (Super cool British dude who loves retro gaming) Shesez (Boundary Break! Takes you behind the scenes in the actual games to find Easter Eggs. One of the most original and fun gaming channels on YT) Slope's Game Room (Another cool British dude. Talks about failed video game Kickstarters and does in depth complete histories of entire franchises) Stop Skeletons From Fighting (Another cool dude. He mostly focuses on weird and niche gaming peripherals. His Punching Weight series is awesome) Tech Tangents (Another awesome retro gaming/PC tech channel) The 8-Bit Guy (Most Commadore 64 and 8-bit computers and gaming)
I don't watch streaming. Never have, never will. I don't understand the appeal of it. I want to play the games and experience them myself. I can understand if it's a game you probably never want to play, but are interested in a certain aspect of it, but I remember when streaming first started and never got on board.
The only Let's Play I ever watched was OG Game Grumps before JonTron left and it wasn't funny anymore. Nothing since.
