Probably a tie between Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Tennis Open(which I personally love due to its online multiplayer), and Super Street Fighter IV.
I also loved Resident Evil Revelations, Dead or Alive Dimensions, Star Fox 64 3D(why no online leaderboards!?!), and Ocarina of Time.
Mario Kart 7 used to be my favorite game, but as I kept playing it, I realized its many flaws due to rushed development. The VR system was based off of how much time you played, there are no official online leaderboards(only automatic ghost downloads), no online tournaments, a shallow versus mode, no single player VS mode, the lack of the mega mushroom(personal complaint), a bland menu presentation, and a somewhat small character roster(although I did like the roster). So MK7 moved far down on my 3DS list after a couple months.
And Kid Icarus Uprising was fun, but the controls and dragging land battle really hurt the experience for me. Plus the online mode had no ranking system. Kid Icarus and Mario Kart 7 are both great games, it's just that certain things in each game kind of hampered my experience with them.
Anyways, this post is way to long, so I'm going to end it.
Why would you spend money on a 3DS and not own more than one game?
The Ambassador program got me on board, but TBH the only games I own are 3D Land, Ocarina of Time 3D, and Pilotwings.
Could have sworn I answered this in another thread like this recently but oh well TBD didnt lock this one so I could be mistaken.
Right now I will go with NSMB2. I know alot of people said OMG there's nothing really new its just the same thing over and over and over and its just like the other games in the NSMB series, but other than this game the only one I played was NSMBW and I was disappointed in that game. This one plays alot like SMB3 and World which are two of my favorite Mario games of all time plus the added goal of collection a million goals just makes this game all the more fun for me.

Think my favourite is Kid Icarus Uprising, it just has a great sense of humour and the air battles have some of the best gameplay I have ever seen, and I still haven't actually completed it yet, need to get on with that.
