This may finally sell me on a VITA, too. I chose the 3DS for the different flavor from Sony games, but now may be the time to add it to the family.

I'd be surprised if they don't do a 2nd Nintendo direct in the next week or so.

Nintendo have to seriously bring the games today. I'm not planning to pick up a PS4 or an Xbox One in the next 12 months, but there are now more games announced for each of those that interest me than the Wii U has. Nintendo can change that today, and I really hope they do, but I can't imagine they'll be able to match the new IPs the other consoles will have. The launch of a console is the time for new IPs, and Nintendo sort of missed the boat. Now they need their big names to dig themselves out of this hole.
3D Mario, new Retro studios game and the new Monolith game is now the very least I want to see.
In my opinion, Nintendo need to 3 things to have a good E3 for the WiiU and not bomb later this year.
1). Price drop. Premium console, £199.
2). Not just announce games, but get them out the door for Christmas.
3). ADVERTISE THE doodiepooples OUT OF IT.
