Well, dual screen technology and glasses-less 3D are not quite the most innovative ideas in the world; Nintendo was just the first to implement them well.
Whether or not the dual screen technology and glasses-less 3D is a rip-off doesn't matter. It is a fact that Nintendo successfully introduced the gaming world to dual screen technology and (will make) glasses-less 3D in gaming and made it a mainstream necessity. Now the competition is following Nintendo's example, as they always do. Take a look back at history, Nintendo were the first to successfully do shoulder buttons, the analogue stick, rumble and now motion controllers. All of the tech wasn't new by any means, but Nintendo innovated in ways that made the technology relevant to gaming and each and every time, the other first parties followed in Nintendo's example.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
