Wow. I am completely shocked with how much they optimised the game for the switch. sure there are a few noticeable glitches, maybe a few broken or stretched textures but overall this game is completely valid for the full experience on the Switch. this is why devs need to actually optimise a game for the switch instead of limiting the frame rate and resolution and calling it a day. They did their best to give players the full doom eternal experience on the switch. Other devs need to take note.
I will be getting this game when it goes on sale. If it had been released physically I'd bought it day one. But if your going to make me buy it digitally I'm waiting for a sale.
@CurryPowderKeg79 considering Doom is still £50 on the E-shop (and hasn't dropped much in the sales) I wouldn't go holding your breath for Eternal to go on sale any time soon.
Edit: apologies as I manged to derail a thread within 3 comments without adding anything about the original comment. My attention span is becoming excessively short
I'm holding out for a complete physical edition once the DLC packs and software updates are done (which would make more efficient use of a 32GB cartridge seeing as the base game will need one anyway).
Perhaps such a physical edition can coincide with the release of a "definitive" edition on new gen consoles, whenever that may be.
Porygon did nothing wrong.
