I used to play the French Horn, but I've long since forgotten how...
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
Anyway I play several instruments my main ones being cello, bass, guitar, and piano. I also play violin and viola I've played an instrument for 10 years.
i don`t play an instrument, but i am a beat mix bedroom dj. that requires a good sense of rhythem, timing and knowing my records so that the tunes don`t clash. i`d love to be a scratch / beat juggle dj. but i don`t know anybody personally that can help me do this. here`s a good example of a beat juggle dj. for those who think two record players and a couple of tunes can`t be used as an instrument. check the last 30 seconds. I think I've seen a thread like this before, but I play the double bass in my school's orchestra, select orchestra and jazz band. I've played bass for about 5 years and I'd say I'm pretty awesome at it, but there's only 3 bassists in my district anyways. I'm trying to teach myself how to play my dad's trumpet, but I think my problem right now is that my chops aren't strong enough. Also, the definition of play can mean several things. If you mean have an extremely general, basic understanding of the instrument, then I can play some basic chords on the guitar, some ragtime on the piano, and I guess I can work out tunes on the harmonica. I'm in both the choir and select choir at my school. I guess I would consider myself a fairly knowledgeable musician, for eighth grade, anyways.
I play the saxophone, the trumpet, the oboe, the viola, I can sort of play the piano, and I actually have an ocarina that I play occasionally (I got my ocarinas here: http://songbirdocarina.com/ ) . I played the oboe in middle school band for 3 years, but then I switched to saxophone and now I play that. I also learned to play the viola in 5th grade, but haven't played it much since. I've had a piano in my living room for my entire life, so naturally I taught myself a little bit, but I never took lessons and I'm not that good at it. I learned how to play the ocarina, which is actually a real instrument, after seeing an ad in Nintendo Power for Songbird Ocarinas, and I ended up buying two ocarinas from them, and I also have several other ocarinas. Most recently, I bought a trumpet used at Sam Ash pretty cheap just because I wanted to learn it, and I can play it okay, but I'm fairly new to it.
