speaking of which, does anyone have a spare Gamecube memory card in good condition?
i'll need one when i start playing Gamecube games on my Wii
Dude, there's no such thing as a 'spare' GC memory card. You can buy 'em, but only stinky 3rd party ones, which wipe randomly (hence why i treasure the two official ones I've got).
And yes, I miss the Gamecube days, I was younger then.
wait, you can't buy Nintendo's Gamecube cards anymore?
I had all three systems at that time, and the Nintendo part of me hated watching the Gamecube getting its ass kicked on a monthly basis. The Sony and Micosoft part of me liked seeing it happen, though.

Game Cube was a blast!! I had 42 original titles on it!! I wish Wii to have a library full of QUALITY games, like Game Cube's, until the end of its life!
Hyped about : Metroid other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii,Golden Sun DS and the new Legend of Zelda!
No I don't really miss those days It took forever for a decent game to come out, poor 3rd party support, shops didn't stock many games. But there was some great games on GC but I can just play them on my Wii so I don't miss it.It had my favourite traditional controller though! On a side note why does anyone use shops these days? The internet is far better for buying stuff, you get all the best prices, no old people in the way, no annoying music like they have in sports shops(in the UK anyway) and no queues It's a win win for me.

usually shipping prices suck, and of course there is the whole pirated DS and Gameboy cartridge debate

Well in the Uk (don't know about the US) a lot of sites have free P&P and even if they don't what I save on the price compared to shops usually covers P&P anyway. As for pirated stuff just don't buy things from Hong Kong and if you use a Credit card your covered for stuff like that anyway.Sorry I know this is off topic.
Edit - Yeah fair enough if your under 18 I see your point. Although try and get your parnets to use their card and 'forget' to pay em back

I oughta move to the UK then! lol o well
a friend of mine might give me his memory card soon so maybe it'll work out for the better
You're gonna have to go a lot farther back before I start missing stuff. Try SNES-era. Gamecube was okay. It had some sweet games and I had some good times on it, but the Wii is killing it in all areas besides Zelda (WW>TP).

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
