Good to see some news on Disney Speedstorm. Disappointed there's no date for it yet.
@Kermit1 Yeah, even if gameplay is limited to clicking and reading, visual novels have actually had some of the best storytelling experiences I've had. Tokyo School Life, Higurashi, and the Parascientific Escape series just to name a few I've liked.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy Ya way too many, I was kinda hoping for more console games. But Gargoyles remaster that's cool, Speedstorm looks neat I'm still hoping for a Muppet track.
@Kermit1 I may not have been into Gargoyles personally, but hearing that name caught me by surprise. I haven't heard that series name since I was a kid.
Completely forgot this was on until this thread popped up so here's my 2 cents after watching it:
That Mickey Mouse Switch game looks really cool, even if I'm not entirely sure whether it's a platformer or Lemmings-styled automated game.
Disney Speedstorm, despite not really caring about it in the slightest, is one I'll probably give a gander when it comes out since it's free after all (assuming you don't have to make a Disney account to play it in which case NOPE).
That Gargoyles announcement was almost certainly the highlight of the show. I didn't know Gargoyles had a video game, but based on the Push Square chat reaction, I'm going to assume it's a well-loved one so colour me intrigued!
There was an absolute torrid of mobile game announcements in there which I feel dragged down the broadcast as a whole. Why get excited for a 'world premiere' when it's most likely either a mobile game or related to a mobile game?
Was not aware that Avatar was a Disney-owned property, let alone that it was getting TWO games this year. I swear, no one talked about this movie for the past decade and then suddenly it just re-emerged in the public zeitgeist for seemingly no reason. What.
That was an extremely flat ending. Instead of ending it on the exciting Captain America/Black Panther game, they end it on....Marvel Pokemon GO. Okay.
In short: not the biggest fan.
