I have Netflix, but starting to get bored with it, and that they started taking some of my favorite shows off of streaming without warning was just, annoying...ugh. I don't want more than 1 subscription, so...when compared to Netflix, what are Hulu Plus and Amazon Video like? (also, I prefer cartoons and anime more than anything, but my little sister sometimes watches her own shows, think they're like...Disney Channel or something, I dunno, lol)

Keep it PG-13-ish.
For anime, i have found that netflix is the best, then amazon prime I'd say. Avoid hulu, it's a horrible service, you still have to view commercials in it too.

...Commercials? Seriously? xD
Actually the anime I watched on Netflix were the shows I was talking about, they just randomly took them off streaming. >.>

(If you're really into anime, Crunchyroll is definitely worth keeping in your bookmarks regardless of whether or not you want to pay for the premium service.)

Well like I said, I don't need multiple subscriptions. xD
And here's the great thing; the premium service for Crunchyroll really only nets you access to new episodes of current anime a week earlier. After a week, those anime episode become freely available to watch for anybody. If you're patient, you can get hours of new anime for the unbeatable cost of nothing (bar in mind that I'm ignoring the ads).
As for how Crunchyroll handles streaming, it doesn't do much better or worse than other streaming sites. In fact, I've had less streaming problems with Crunchyroll than I have had with Hulu. I can't vouch for how it compares to services like Netflix as I am cheap.

...ads as in like commercials or something?...Are they blockable with AdBlock? (...cuz I do have it, lol)
What about Amazon's selection? Is it crappy-ish like Netflix or whut?

#1. Yes, the commercials are blockable with AdBlock Plus, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING IT. Anime in America is a niche market that is almost constantly fighting an uphill battle. Reducing ad revenue for a completely legal and free anime-streaming site just because you don't want to wait a minute or two to continue watching your show will not help that uphill battle. Also, it's a bit selfish.
#2. I should have made myself clear; when I said I was "Cheap", I really meant that I do not pay for streaming services. From what I can tell, Amazon Video is a paid streaming service and thus I do not use it. Because of that, I cannot compare Amazon's selection to Netflix's selection simply because I do not use any of those services.
