Topic: Create a new nintendo ip

If you could create a new ip for nintendo what would it be what type of game would they star in and why

A new free-roaming platform game franchise! The only free-roaming platform games we see nowadays from Nintendo are Mario games! In the past we had Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, though both where made by Rareware. And Rareware has gone to Microsoft, so they are lost (on the Nintendo home-consoles anyway). Rareware also made Donkey Kong 64, though I am not a big fan of that game.

I know that good free-roaming platform games are very scarce nowadays, though Sony had the Jak and Daxter games and they still have the Ratchet and Clank games (though those don't seem to be regarded much as platformers). And they have the Little big planet games.

Rumor has it that Miyamoto is coming up with a new franchise. I hope that it is a free-roaming platformer, but I don't hold my breath. Maybe Retro studios could also bake a good free-roaming platformer. Or let them make a free-roaming Kid Icarus (or Raven Blade)! I would also like some more adventure stuff. Zelda is not enough. They could turn Kid Icarus into a Zelda-like franchise, with fights and puzzles but of course with it's own flavor. Well, maybe Pandora's tower fills that gap a bit (I don't know if there is much puzzling in it, but it gives me a bit of a Zelda vibe together with a God of War/Kojima Castlevania (forgot the name) vibe!

An open world game.

it would have to be a science fictional character that is not human. yea i guess it would be cool to have a vampire as the next main character if there ever will be a new earthbound game. but preferably someone who is stronger than a human but has the attributes of a human or mammal like in the X-men series of comic books. and preferably any age younger than 20. but not Pokemon young lol. also i thought it would be nice to do a spin off game of legend of zelda away from link being the main character. i was thinking what if the sages had children? why not have a game about the adventures of their children and the powers they learn over time. overall these are just my ideas

Well how about this: A Pokemon game thats free roaming, like Zelda, but better than other Poke console games?

Obviously, it is a platformer/RTS.

I'm pretty sure they've done that but haven't released most of them outside of Japan.

How about a deep RPG (in terms of storytelling) which isn't turn based or a strategy game like Fire Emblem. Also, make the storyline more down to earth, too many games nowadays do the over the top storyline.

If we're talking spin-offs, I would love to see something about the Shiekah tribe from Legend of Zelda. That could be cool.

But brand new IPs? Gosh I dunno, I don't think Nintendo wants to do something that would be in a niche that's already filled. Like one of Nintendo's more recent IPs is Pikmin - something very innovative that didn't have anything quite like it.
I would love to see something in the way of "sandbox" games where the player also heavily influences the story (not an easy feat to accomplish in a game). I'm not sure on a character/basic story because I'm not exactly creative.. I just play the games I don't make them.

I wanna see more strategy and platforming games

How about this: Bosses of Monster Hunter + Atmosphere of Metroid + Controls of Legend of Zelda + Awesome Storyline + Nintendo's Unending Creativity?

Honestly, I have no idea what I.P. is (I is kinda slow), but I'm thinking it's a general idea of new franchise ideas.

I know this is nearly impossible but... I'd seriously wish for something like an MMORPG world. Maybe like a Nintendo-ish World of Warcraft or RuneScape, preferably on Wii U. Like I said, I can dream.

Quite a few of Nintendo's current franchises could cross over into the MMO genre, in my opinion...
