Apparently, the students in my country Indonesia have to study at home from 16 - 21 March 2020 to prevent Corona virus spread.
The government has confirmed the official letters to all Indonesia school.

I just got a memo yesterday about massive cuts to my hours at the Hotel i'm employed with (Night Audit), as well as no longer being allowed to work overtime (which this alone means I miss out on nearly $400 a check).

I hope that I can still afford rent after these cut hours. To say I am scared is an understatement.

I was in the store using a restroom. As I washed my hands, I saw a mid-40s guy leave without washing his hands. Normally that’s gross anyway, because people are disgusting, but to make it worse he then hugged his elderly mother outside the restroom.

@gcunit Because we’ve already seen humans physically assault each other over TP, I have no doubt that some terrible children are hoping for that.

Latest in the UK is 14 day isolation if you or anyone in your house has a cough. My kids got a cough end of last week, so I'm now on isolation for 10 days...

This virus is terrible but it helps me with my backlog, which is nice

The TV show Pawn Stars did a parody video where someone brought in a half empty pack of water, a jug of hand sanitizer with only 1/3 left and some toilet paper and sold the whole lot for 75 dollars. I was amused.

Anyway, looks like we'll officially hit 200,000 cases this week. Would it be inappropriate to bet on when?

I went to a subway restaurant the other day and because of this virus they weren't even allowing people to eat in the dining room. You have to order your food and go sit in your car and eat. It's nuts! Apparently the governor ordered all restaurants to close their doors. Only drive thru's or takeout is allowed!

Oh and walmart stores are no longer open 24 hours. I don't know how reducing store hours is gonna save anyone but damn this is getting heavy doc!

Grocery/basic supplies shopping sucks so much right now. Three stores and I cant find TP...
And somebody passed out at my office so we are shut down/remote until further notice. I'm just glad i opted to work remotely today.

Walked past my village pub and it's completely full, Lol.

I wonder what proportion of people are just deliberately ignoring government advice, and what proportion are just tuned out from the news so they don't realise they've been told not to go to pubs.

We are in the middle of the countryside though, so probably significantly safer than people in big cities.
