Imagi Animation, the people who made the Astro Boy movie a few years back, made a pitch for an animated Zelda film. This pitch came from the teams American branch, which was shut down back in 2010, and so this Zelda film never became anything more than a pitch. And their pitch video was recently found. Enjoy.
I'm glad they didn't approve, I didn't like the art style. It felt too much like some of the cartooney CGI disney movies. That style doesn't feel right for Zelda to me. I liked the live action video that was on youtube a while back that there an article on better.
I personally wouldn't mind it if they kept that art-style because the Zelda games are notorious for having a different art-style in each installment. Also, it was an early test. If Nintendo had approved of this and the company hadn't shut down, then I'm sure it would've looked different based on Nintendo's assistance and advice.
I kinda like the art style and overall it seemed to have high production values, I would've definitely watched it the instant it would've come out. But ugh, those character models look like they were carved with a hatchet, especially their chins. Reminds me of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Currently on the plate:
Mount and Blade: Warband – Napoleonic Wars
Chivalry
Super Mario 3D World – Finishing the last few levels.
Mario Kart 8
