Title explains it all. Post some of what you think are the best and worst feelings in a game. Feel free to include board games too if you wish.
Best:
-Finding a crazy obscure secret that reaps and awesome reward
-Getting a perfect clear in Tetris
-Winning one of the stick rotating minigames in Mario Party 1.
-Depriving an opponent of a win by using the Monopoly card in Settlers of Catan.
Worst:
-Dying after a long session of sidequesting where you never saved, forcing you to go through the process again
-Completely screwing yourself over in a competitive Tetris battle because you accidentally turned a piece too many times before pressing it.
Best: Doing something that you thought you couldn't do, but manage to accomplish it.
Worst: Losing right when you're about to achieve something in a game.
There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...
Best:
-Not playing for high scores and still getting them. (Especially after long sessions of actually trying to get them.)
-NPC's in games that thank you (or generally sweet interaction with NPC's)
-Stumbling on the right path when you weren't searching for it
-Trying out a new game, hating it, going back & then discovering that it is, in fact, a real gem and you love it
-Music. Just. Music.
Worst:
-Not being able to advance the story when you want to (due to whatever reason)
-Grinding when it's boring and repetitive and still required
-Characters you do not care for getting the spotlight
-Characters you like dying
-That feeling that comes after completing an awesome game where you suddenly realise... yeah, it's over. Sure, you can replay, but it'll never quite be the same like that very first time.

Checkmating your opponent in Chess (even when just playing against a CPU, I get this little giddy feeling everytime I win).
Finding (and finally beating) a hidden optional boss. the Kingdom Hearts series has several of my favorites.
Worst:
After beating a game, going back and randomly dying in an early stage/area (I just feel like I should be good enough at that point, that dying in an early area should be a scientific impossibility, lol).
Badly made F2P games (where there is a sudden difficulty spike that makes it impossible to win without purchases).
While playing Pinball, the ball seems dead set on getting past you, no matter what you do. (Like doing really, really well on ball one, but balls two & three seem to make a beeline for the gap between flippers ASAP, not giving you the chance to fight back)
I think one of the most distinctive games in overall feeling was The Last of Us......it holds your attention, but at times the game gives you a sickening feeling of dread.....and at that, it's not really scary or intrusivly intense (given the many moments of reflection)......but it's not always a pleasant experience.
Worst would be obvious but best for me are frequently really well made and challenging boss battles. Usually the type where you can take a lot of hits but the enemy can take so much more and you have to do actively do these different fun things in order to beat him with very little health left.
best feelings huh... A recent one would be succesfully down-smashing someone(at 0%) twice into obliteration in Smash bros For Glory mode( Take that Little Mac!)
Losing a save in general makes me feel like I have a pit in my stomach, whether it be because I forgot to save, a glitch, or a corrupted file. I lost an hour of progress in Tales of Vesperia today. I had to go for a half hour drive to calm down.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
