Topic: Ashes To Ashes TV Series

There are quite a bit of British people on here so I figured it would be a good place to ask. How does this show stand up to Life on Mars. I'm going to start watching Life On Mars (BBC version) soon and will watch Ashes to Ashes after I finish LOM. I absolutely loved the US version of Life On Mars. I'm looking forward to seeing the British version .

Don't remember much about Ashes to Ashes but it was a lot like Life on Mars (surprise). Not as good as Life on Mars but still good.

Agreed, and Ashes to Ashes is also a pretty incredible Bowie track. I've never heard of these shows, as I'm in the US, but I can't argue with those titles.

I watched both and preferred LOM. There was always a definite end date for the story - they intentionally weren't milking it for every season they could just because it was popular, but I always felt A2A was a bit of a cash in on the popularity of the first season.

Found the ending overly cheesy.

@warioswoods: I had never heard of ashes to ashes by Bowie. It's not as good as his life on mars song, but it is good, Thanks for linking me to it You should try watching the USA Life On Mars, the ending is a bit scrutinized, but I liked it.

@ImDiggerDan: Well, that's a bit of a let down. Lighting doesn't strike twice in the same place I guess.
