So... just finished watching the Apple WWDC 2014, and they showed a demonstration of EA games running FROSTBITE on an iPad?

Guess EA looks pretty stupid with the 'Wii U isn't powerful enough for Frostbite' argument now, huh?

Was there anything else at the conference that you think might be good news for Nintendo? I'm thinking the Health app looks like it's in a similar vein to Nintendo's promised QOL platform...?

Why would they look stupid for ignoring or do spared the worst performing platform and getting their games on the most popular platform on the heels on an apple TV update this year and iOS/OSX growing even closer.

That Hori ipad controller that is coming out will be a game changer I think for me. There is loads of good stuff on iOS that I want to get and the total cost is hardly anything. (And more companies seem to be supporting iOS physical controls than Android. Including e.g Square Enix).

I am glad I don't need anything to do with OSX any more.

Another interesting thing is the iOS version of All Stars Racing Transformed run as 60fps without anti aliasing but it is not noticeable because of the higher resolution of the retina ipad screen. (At least it never bothered me).

It doesn't bother me EA doing what they are because they are doing both the type of games I ignore and rereleasing good stuff with support for real controls like Knights of the Old Republic.

Well actual Xbox One is the worst performing platform, in terms of overall sales

But I'm saying their argument is frostbyte can't run on a Wii U - it clearly can if it can run on a iPad which has a lot less processing power..

(I think the EA titles they did do are better than any of the Ubisoft ones as well).

While its true VGchartz is known for not being reliable and at times making up numbers.

Depends things change and seeing as they were in stage they worked with Apple a lot and mobile processers are moving at an expotential rate due to the fact thatbnee devices come out year round.

So, no one wants to mention that the keynote was absolutely kick butt?

Continuity and Handoff are excellent new features. Being able to work on a document or email and pick up on another device or computer is cool, and being able to answer calls or text messages (even SMS!) on your iPad and computer is simply incredible.

More interactive widgets and notifications, streamlined tools from app to app, and the new release of OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 this fall. Folks, we have a winner.

Would love to see the equivalent of continuity/handoff between Wii U and 3DS. Hopefully this will get Nintendo moving if it hasn't already..

Yeah, this. WWDC got me more excited than anything at E3 is likely to (unless Nintendo pulls something ridiculous). Also, Swift looks my dream programming language — it's just a shame that it's basically Apple-only, since that kind of limits its use for me.

I really like the new look for OSX. Really can't get excited since I'm an Android guy. Looking forward to Google I/o.

Very disappointed. As an Apple fan, I was expecting much more. New hardware maybe? Maybe I'm just so enamored that Microsoft did with Windows 8 and RT what I wanted Apple to do in 2010, and I'm still wanting that from Apple in a way, but the new software really didn't impress me.

I generally like Apple's stuff, but I was so disappointed to see the UI has taken. I really, really hate the 'flat' look (so ugly!) that Microsoft has gone with, and now that Apple is apparently doing the same, I can't get away from it.

Firstly, I don't understand why this is in the Wii U forum rather than the General Discussion forum, but on-topic they don't look stupid, they look like liars, but I thought everyone knew that?

Main reason I went PS4 was due to price difference and baseball, plus wanting to try something new. I was going to get a one and go all in microsoft's ecosystem but they didn't announce the changes to Windows Phone,8 , and Xbox till it was too late.

I don't think they ever reveal hardware at the WWDC.. I think they do all their reveals at their Keynotes.

everything's good and it'll be that way forever!

@iKhan This is a developer's conference, where they discuss the direction the OS and iOS is heading and then gives them the development tools and lectures to make the most of it. New hardware only appears if it greatly impacts the developers, like the original iPhone.
