I always play them, then get bored eventually and stop for a few days. Some games I come back to though. I usually beat like one game a year, I can't even remember the last console game I completed. I'm proud of myself though, I'm on the Final Boss in Bowser's Inside Story, and am at Terra's Final Boss in Birth by Sleep

I beat games a little bit, but I have 20 right now that i am VERY close and possibly could beat all by the time the 3DS comes out

I always try to beat my games, especially since I got a backloggery, and I can see exactly how many I still need to finish, but lately, I've been buying a lot of games and not finishing my old ones. I've become a collector as much as a gamer, so sometimes I buy games just to have them when I know I'm not going to finish them any time soon. I bought Muramasa on July 27th, and I only played it once, when I first bought it.

Same as gren, here, except for the backloggery thing. I've been trying to motivate myself to go back and start finishing most of them, but I have a lot, so it is kinda overwhelming. And most of my time spent gaming these days is with Smash Bros. or Bomberman with my roommates. But to answer the question, yes, I rarely beat my games.

I don't usually finish games because I tend to get stuck somewhere or just bored every once in a while, and when I do I usually just stop playing for a while. I'll often move on to other games for a while, and when I get stuck in that game I move on to another one. I have a lot of games and at this rate it can take me years to finish a single one, if I finish at all. There are exceptions though, in the case of games that are very short or games that I am really enjoying.

I'm famous for not beating games. Hence why i started my backlag challenge on backloggery. For some reason i get about 75% of the way through a game and move onto something else lol. Trying to stop that though.

I'm gonna make a backloggery, maybe it'll motivate me to beat more games

I don't complete games very often. Usually, another game comes out that I buy before I get a chance to finish the last one. Then there is that rare game that comes along that demands I play it and play it and play it until its finally done. These are quite few and far between though as they are a very special type of game, Examples are Professor Layton, Pokemon, 999, Galaxy 2, Pikmin, World of Goo, Patapon, and Paper Mario. These are games with grips that simply will not let go until you finally finish. These are my favorite types of games and I love when these types of games come along!

Same here, man (I'm sure I've got well over 20 games in need of either beating or a second playthrough), but the backloggery won't be accepting any new registrations until the Remake is complete. It is currently 96% complete. Only a few more weeks or so.

I beat around one game a month. You tell me if I'm slacking off.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

It depends on your definition of beat.

In the case of SMG2 there is the 70 star beat Bowser took a few minutes jumping on the princesses head before grabbing the grand star level of complete, the 120 nabbed all the gold stars complete and then there is the 240 star complete. (Being able to target jump Peach is good enough for me)

For Pokemon its the beat the elite 4 mentality but with HG/SS you have the do the second region elite 4 again mentality with the beat Red mentality to OCD get every pokemon game with link cables, ect, gotta catch them all with stupid event pokemon that never happen in my area. (Beating the Elite 4 a second time is good enough, I don't want to keep shuffling through Grass to be able to beat red. Have to save hours of shuffling for B/W)

I have beaten some games more then others. For the most part I am satisfied with the level of beating. There are a lot of games I need to spend more time (DKCR) on and some I want to play again (Super Paper Mario). There are also some I will never try again and if I ever lost my save data I would be upset (Mario Kart Wii single gold star all cups in mirror mode).

I think it used to be "not often". Then I got my Backloggery set up and I try to beat what I can. I don't see how I lived without a backloggery. Every gamer must have one!

I'm pretty OCD about when I start a game I have to finish it before moving on to the next game, unless the game is just ridiculously hard. Most of the time though just beating a game is enough, I don't have to unlock all the secrets or find all the items, unless it's a game I really enjoy.

Too bad they are not accepting registrations. Otherwise I might have created an account.
