If you haven't seen the show yet then heres a brief summary. The main character is a 12 year old boy living and growing up in the 80's. This show reminds me of my childhood often and tonight I got the biggest smile on my face as the main character was playing the Legend of Zelda. At one part in the show he was at the end and to celebrate he went and got his camcorder to record this moment. His older and much dumber brother seen the game paused and unpasued it ruining the experience. To make it up to him his older brother bought him Zelda 2 at the end of the show. If you grew up in the 80's then I highly recommend this show!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I only got the chance to see the first show and yeah I have to agree with you @Spoony_Tech it reminds me of my childhood too growing up in that decade. Hopefully it will come to Netflix soon and I can watch the whole season.

I've always kinda wanted to watch this show... though I did not grow up in the 80's (I grew up in the late 90's/early 2000's), I am a fan of 80's pop culture. Sounds like I'd enjoy this show.

You know what's funny is the only show I missed was the first one.

I loved the ending with Zelda II showing up, that was great.
As someone who grew up in the 80s, I definitely enjoy the show (even the fact that the daughter got a job at a Gimbel's Department Store was awesome ). However, as someone who grew up in the 80s, I know exactly what year certain things (songs, devices, tv shows, etc) occurred/were released, and the show definitely mixes them up a lot — but it's okay, they're not shooting for picture-perfect accuracy in the timeline of the 80s, which is why the narrator — the great Patton Oswalt! — introduces each episode by saying "it was (whatever day and month), 1980-something ..."
