I think that the theory of Michael Jackson is wrong. Sonic 3 is currently available on Xbox One and PC so why doesn't Sega include it in the collections? Like @MushHill_Act1-1 said what we need is a remaster made by Christian Whitehead but M2 is up to the task too. So what is this curse on Sonic 3 & Knuckles? Why is it always Sonic and Sonic 2, as if the other two didn't exist?
@BlueOcean Sorry for asking something that probably most of the gamers (and Sonic fans) know, but what happened in the past between Michael Jackson and Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles?

@SamusLv7 Michael Jackson started writing a few tunes for Sonic 3 but he didn't like the 16-bit sound so he gave up the project. Sega was allowed to use part of his unfinished work though. Michael didn't want to be in the credits so officially he/his children don't have rights on the soundtrack.
People love to speculate that his contribution is the reason why Sonic 3 is not included in recent compilations but Sonic 3 is still available on Xbox One/360 and PC. Besides, an alternative soundtrack exists for an old PC version of the game, probably when Sega wasn't sure about what to do. For some reason, Sonic 3, the alternative version of Sonic 3 and even Sonic & Knuckles are omitted many times and don't get included or remastered but no one but Sega really knows why.

Don't really want the game itself, but I would likely end up laughing like a witch by peoples reactions if Nintendo made a new Urban champion game and only updated the graphics
@SamusLv7 Sonic 3 & Knuckles (both games) are awesome and much better than Sonic Mania in my opinion so I hope that Sega does something with them. They have never been remastered.
@GuyWithATV Absolutely. A 3DS remake would have been perfect because of the simple geometry and stereoscopic 3D. Nintendo missed a huge opportunity and I am still missing Super Mario 64 a la Ocarina of Time 3D.
A lot of great games being suggested, I may have missed it but I am super surprised no one said Banjo Kazooie.
I would love to bob along to the swell of music as you talon trot and feathery flap your way to the top of grunty’s tower.
Plus, just imagine Freezeezy peaks in all its glory.
Shame it’s unlikely to happen what with Microsoft letting them rot in video game purgatory.
@BlueOcean Perhaps a dual release of Super Mario 64 in 3DS and Switch could happen, as Nintendo can be stubborn at times (we have seen it with them still putting 3DS games). Who knows, maybe their stubbornness could work in our favor this time 😅
