Man, this was the best E3 in years. Microsoft actually managed to impress me, Nintendo's awesome new Splatoon among their other upcoming games (Bayonetta bundle), and this invitational. What a fun two days.
Uhhh. Nintendo has 5 new titles launching this fall on Wii U. Bayonetta 2, Smash Wii U, Hyrule Warriors, Toad's Treasure, and Devil's Third.
They're not spinning. This is exactly what a lot of us predicted before the presentation. NLife fans go nuts, the rest of the gaming community is in indifferent. It's exactly like last year. People already knew Bayonetta 2, Smash and Hyrule Warriors were coming this year, and they didn't want a Wii U, and not much has changed. There was a lot of neat stuff shown, but almost all of it is next year or later.
I just don't get how somebody who considers him or herself a gamer, whether they have a preference for PlayStation (which is the brand I game on most on), Xbox or Nintendo could be indifferent to this. I mean, even as more of a Sony guy I'm not going to say something like Cutscenes 1886 or even Uncharted 4 (which I can't wait to play) is as good as something like Zelda or Devil's Third.
