I can't believe I'm saying this, but I had to look that up because I know it by its Japanese name, Aoi Hana, more than its localized name.
Anyways, I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard lots of good things about it. It's supposed to be one of the best Yuri anime out there, ironically partially because it's more of a romance that happens to involve two women. It's supposedly very smartly written. I should probably get around to it the next time I'm in the mood to feel things.
It's easily the best non-UC Gundam series. In fact, coming off of Gundam Wing and G Gundam, it's actually quitre refreshing to watch a series that feels more like a homage to UC Gundam era while still very much being its own thing. It's post-apocalyptic, but it never feels completely bleak. I think the best part was the cast, though. IMO, Gundam usually doesn't have a lot of likeable characters, but I liked everyone in Gundam X. I wouldn't say they're exceptional or unique, but they're all interesting and distinct in their personalities. I especially liked the two leads, Garrod and Tifa, whose romance is remarkably genuine and heartfelt for a Gundam series. Also, the battles are well done, especially by the middle of the series. Certainly miles ahead of the ones in Gundam Wing (but that's not that hard, and to be quite honest, despite some very memorable fights, it's still middle of the road compared to any OVA or Tomino series in that regard. You'll still notice some beam spam, some enemies with terrible accuracy, and some reused animation, it's just no where near as bad as say, SEED Destiny).
Lastly, I should warn you that the ending was a bit rushed because the Gundam franchise was waning in popularity and Gundam X had to be cut short. It's still a remarkably good ending for what it is, but there is one aspect that was built up the entire series but not really explained too well at the end. If you decide to watch it and get confused at that point, I could direct you to a post that explains it fairly well. It's the one of the last episodes, though, so you should be fine until then.
Have any of you heard of Devil Survivor 2: The Animation?
I just finished watching it, and I have to say: it's easily one of my favorite anime's I've ever watched. Not only that, but it's a really good adaptation as well, and you don't need to know anything about the game it's based on going into it (though knowing a bit about the SMT series is a bonus).
As far as I know, it's only available in subs for the moment. If you're interested, here's episode 1:
Just finished watching Legend of Lemnear on YouTube. I'm not really sure if it's better or worse than the manga. On the one hand, as a 43 minute long OVA it's seriously condensed (pretty much a completely different story) & the lore isn't nearly as thought out well, but on the other hand the animation quality is absolutely wonderful & the special effects and fights are stunning (the completely reworked final fight was a real treat). One thing it kept from the manga was it's ludicrous amount of fanservice, so watch out for that, lol.
Still, it's still a generic sword & sandal fantasy story (even if the fight and animation quality is high), so I'd only recommend it to fans of the genre (same as the manga). Still, if you enjoyed the manga (or this OVA), I'd say it's worth it to check out the other one since they differ so much.
Also, I'm up to chapter 76 in Rurouni Kenshin! Everyone has just arrived in Kyoto, so things are going to be going down soon.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

As much as I love Kenshin season 3 was forced. It wasn't bad but didn't come close to living up to the first 2 seasons. I want to re-watch it again myself but I just might stop after season 2.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Don't worry about it @Spoony_Tech TBH, I feel the same way about the 3rd season of the anime.
Even before knowing that it deviated from the manga, I felt it was odd that they were adding in actual supernatural/magical elements (which just seemed out of place).

wait wait wait, they did what?!
Now I'm even more glad I didn't get far in the anime version. I mean, the manga was already stretching it at points but that is just unnecessary.
Another meh new episode of The Boondocks. I'm kind of just accepting this season is going to be very underwhelming. I didn't see the preview for next week. Did anyone catch it? I'm guessing Stinkmeaner since it's already episode 6 next week and they haven't done one yet.

Yeah, the stories in the third season got pretty out there as far as Kenshin goes. (spoilers ahead)
By far the worst two offenders were the story where they had to fight the Order of the Black Knights (or Knights Templar, or something like that) who came over to Japan to find some legendary flower that supposedly has the properties to make them immortal or something or other. Turns out the flower does exist, and is located in an elaborate European style palace dug into an underground cavern by previous visitors from their order who landed in Japan some hundreds of years before.
Then there's the one where there was some group who was actually using feung suei to alter the Ki in an area to control their opponents (using the same sort of circular tablet thingy that that girl had in that one episode of Cowboy Bebop). Long story short, they were trying to destroy some sort of city wide magic circle that the government had constructed to protect Tokyo from negative Ki (they did destroy it, and the forces of nature were trying to balance things out by hiting the city with a bunch of negative Ki at once, which caused an entire forest of trees to die en masse).

Wow, you make it sound worse then what I remember. I've must of blacked it out!

@Tobias95 No Game No Life and Black Bullet are the most popular animes this season. I have not seen either of them though. Ping Pong the Animation is interesting but looks unappealing. Knights of Sidonia is also very good but is in CG if that matters. Akuma no Riddle has school girl assassins and one of them who totally wants another girl's goodies (seriously the genre is Action, School, Shoujo Ai). Mekakucity Actors... Uhh...
These are just some airing this season.
