Watching One Piece and now starting the time skip part in the series, they all gotten so strong and cool!

What episode you on? I stopped at 520, and after watching Strong World, I could use an excuse to go back to the series.

I'm at ep 523, spoiler they are underwater heading to the mermaid island.
I still have to watch the OVA's and movies, but won't bother watching them if they are recaps/shorten versions of adventures they already had in the series.

I thought you were caught up in One Piece.

I really like HxH so far. Once I finish the Hunter Exam Arc I'll get back to One Piece. Toriko I'm also very interested in.

Then there's TONS of short series I want to watch.

Ever since I watched the One Piece x Dragon Ball Z x Toriko special many months back I wanted to see it, I recently just watched the special were the One Piece crew first saw the Toriko crew as well, but I'm going to wait a long while until Toriko gets 200 or more eps since it seems to be a long running anime and I don't want to wait weekly for a new ep.

Oh, that reminds me, I was gonna do a long rant about Eureka Seven and how it's the best full Mecha Anime series to come out in the past 10 years, yet that really just shows how crappy Mecha has become, since Eureka Seven doesn't really hold up well when compared to a lot of Mecha anime from the 80's and 90's. I forget the specifics, though...

I honestly don't know whether to continue or not. The first couple of episodes were promising but now it feels like nothing is planned and they're just making it up as they go along. It's still hilarious and awesome, but I think it lost track of what it was supposed to be at the beginning.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

My point being that you said that there isn't much good mecha these days...not that Yamato is mecha, far from it, by sci fi itself also seems to be lacking somewhat nowadays.

it becomes a complete mess from now on if you keep watching keep in mind that it will be all exagerated and stereotipical to a level that it gets funny

But when non-mecha sci-fi is there, it's usually good. Mecha is a different genre and doesn't even need to be sci-fi, and it has seen better days, IMO.
