@CaviarMeths
I didn't pay attention to the release date, it was my regular top 10. Here is a list with more recent Anime:
1. Hunter X Hunter (2011)
2. Shingeki no Kyojin
3. Steins;Gate
4. Fate/Zero
5. Nichijou
6. Tiger & Bunny
7. Kill la Kill
8. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
9. Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
10. Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki
1 Fate/Zero
2.The Unlimited: Hyoubu Kyousuke
3. Kill la Kill
Short list. Some of the shows are on-hold. I really want to watch Steins;Gate, but I want to play the VN first.
Edit: Just checked out jlist.com, Steins;Gate cost $29.95.Getting it on my b-day.
It's getting localized this year for PS3 and Vita, if you want to wait.
Eh, but the official English PC version has already been out since last year: http://www.jastusa.com/catalog/product/view/id/346 (unless the PS3 and Vita has extra content?). The publisher is JAST USA. It seems they publish a quite bit of VNs. Further checking the list of publish titles from JAST USA Sta..... son of a. I'm going to need a crap ton of beer to make me forget what I just witness. Really, they're bringing that game!?
Oh, btw, saw the first 44 minutes of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods. I would've watched more but the player crapped out. Ended up just buying the Blu-Ray, along with One Piece Film Z. Anyways, it's got a good set up, so I'm gonna see if it works on my iPad so I can finish it off.
EDIT: Mission accomplished! That has to be the best DBZ movie I've seen. Though I'll admit I stopped right before Broly's movies, at least the first of which is supposed to be the best...but honestly, I think I'd still like this one the most. It's just a very fun, generally light-hearted movie that perfectly captured why I ever liked this series in the first place. I was going to save my continued rewatch of Dragon Ball for April, but I may have to start it now. I'm really inspired. This is actually up there with One Piece Film Z as the best anime film based on an existing franchise I've ever seen.
Yes, yes it is. Says it in the Google Play description, even. You don't even need an account, though if you go free, you'll have to deal with ads (which aren't too bad, they're usually short). I notice the ads themselves are better on the consoles, just to mention.
Hmm, read some (Crunchyroll) reviews on Google Play, and apparently after the newest update it's not working on my tablet model (I had the reviews filtered to only users with the same model), so I'll have to wait to see if they get it fixed.
As for the 360, it's my bro's, so I'll have to ask if he wants it on it.

Yesterday my brain got on the topic of nudity in anime openings during the 90's, and naturally Brain Powered worked it's way into the monologue - seriously, that was pretty much the climax of the whole stupid "Naked Chicks in Anime OP Because" fad. I mean, what did you think that show was about afterwords? Because it was a Mecha series, yet I only noticed 2 full shots of the robots those women will be in almost the entire running time (and they were practically used as censor bars).
Now today I see at the top of Crunchyroll's News Page a story about the artbook for the series getting reprinted (and of course they focus on the nudity, because art). Thankfully, I had this nugget of wisdom to share on their page:
Oh hey, I was just thinking about the naked chicks in Brain Powered Yesterday, what a coincidence.

I'm assuming it's a show set in the future where all clothing has been outlawed, so women get into giant robots to hide their shame.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Now I have to ask: What are your top 10 favorite anime released in the past 5 years?
1. The Devil is a Part Timer
2. Wake Up Girls
3. Puella Magi Madoka Magica
4. Stella C3
5. Kaichou wa Maid Sama
6. Uta no Prince Sama
7. Free
8. Love Live: School Idol Project
9. I Can't Understand What my Husband is Saying
10. Sasami-san @ganbaranai
Not sure if this is the exact order I'd necessarily put them in (Stella might be too high and Sasami too low) but these are the notable ones I can think of off the top of my head. Devil is a Part Timer is the most recent out of this list that I've watched so my immense enjoyment of it is coming in a lot sharper than the others. Really hoping it gets a second season.
Honorable Mention: Miss Monochrome. Just for the visual crack that is it's ending.
Current Playlist: Age of Calamity, Stardew Valley, ACNH
The Devil is a Part Timer isn't what I thought it was. What was the one where the demon king is defeated, so all the heroes take on regular civilian jobs, and then the demon king's daughter applies for a job at the same store as the MC?
It was pretty mediocre, so I was confused to see multiple people say TDIAPT was one of their favorites... but I was thinking of the wrong thing.
Also, I read the newest chapter of Bleach yesterday!
The Hippie captain is having a meeting with the imprisoned Aizen.
He released the locks on Aizen's mouth, left ankle, and one of his eyes, so they could converse. He offered to bring Aizen up to the surface "to breathe some fresh air", to which he seemed to agree. At one point he did mock the Hippie captain for the destruction of Soul Society, and when one of the guards went to beat some sense into Aizen, his hands exploded (proving that Aizen's energy isn't entirely snuffed out, just compressed close to his body).
Meanwhile, Ywach once again tries to destroy the Soul King, but Ichigo diverts the attack, and states his resolve to stop Ywach (while Yoruichi puts up extra barriers around the Soul King).

DBZ Kai - The fight between Goku & Vegeta hit the point where we witnessed their classic beam battle (one of the most iconic moments in all of anime battles), and it was just as awesome as ever. Also, Vegeta goes ape, literally.
Kill la Kill - It looks like Ryuko's Kamui has a limit, and she was brought to defeat by an opponent with no special battle enhancements (not after a typically crazy fight, however).
Naruto Shippuden - Naruto stumbles onto a hidden tomb, and proceeds to battle a mysterious opponent, who he'll soon have to learn how to work with. However, Sai's inexperience with socializing brings out the best, and most hilarious, part of the episode by far.
InuYasha: The Final Act - InuYasha & Sesshomaru must work together to defeat an old rival of their father's, who reveals the truth behind the two brothers' swords. Much to Sesshomaru's ire, his father expects him to master Tenseiga's only offensive capability, only to willingly surrender it to InuYasha afterwards (little does he know, showing such an ultimate act of compassion will let him earn his true inheritance).
Gurren Lagaan - As team DaiGurren is faced closer to defeat than they've ever been, Kitan makes the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure their escape. Now Gurren Lagaan undergoes it's most powerful transformation yet, and it's time to turn the tide of this fight!
One Piece - A completely random, unrelated, filler episode IN THE MIDDLE of a series of very important fights!? What does it think it is, Bleach? Oh, and it unexpectedly becomes a Christmas episode in the last 3 minutes...
Also, they announced Toonami: Flight Plan an online series that will stream on the AS website, where you'll be able to get insight into what goes into the making of the block, as well as plans for the future, straight from the people that make it all happen.
Oh, and they had another weird music video (this one the most disturbing yet, with the minds behind Superjail obviously being behind the animation...).
