Topic: An Idea I Had for a Next Gen Console

Would you buy this console?

-The games you play on this console are just like
watching TV, but with games instead!

-Each game has a 30 min. chapter/level that you play

-Commercial breaks for TV, but only 30-60 seconds
long

-If you finish the game before the next game
broadasts, you get to free roam

-If you don't finish, you will have to wait until the
game gets a rerun of that chapter/level or you can
record the series like with TVs right now

-There will be channels
Like: Kids Games, Nintendo Classics, Sony, Microsoft, Simulation Station, Horror Games, etc.

-You can make accounts for the game box, that has all your save files for the games, achievments, etc.

-There is a store where you can ust buy the games
instead of waiting for them to broadcast

-There will be special premeres for new games, and
marathons where a ful game plays for a whole day

-I'll add other stuff later

No... well yes, but it's more the fact it's just stupid really. I want to play a game for however I feel like playing it and whenever I want to, but broadcasting games? Please... leave that to the TV, don't let that enter my console... like ever.

If this service is free after buying the equipment for it (a la TV via antenna), and if I can buy/"record" these games, and these commercials were in between games and not in the middle, I wouldn't mind this. I'd like it very much.

Am I the only other guy who likes this idea? It's free games, people!
