A bit too much cinematics over gameplay for me. Not the worst Xbox presser, but you get the feeling they’re waiting until they reveal the next console to show gameplay which makes the event a bit lackluster.
That Phantasy Online get is a big one, though. Shame it’s only for NA.
I meant to put in my last post but forgot... given the struggles the Xbox brand has had this gen, and the lack of Sony at E3 at all, this really was when I was thinking Microsoft would come out swinging.
They didn't drop any clangers, but they haven't sold me on the idea that this gen has just been a blip for them.
Over to Nintendo to win E3 at a canter...
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
PSO2 immediately caught my attention. I'm surprised it took Sega this long to bring it outside of Japan (it came out in Japan in 2012). Apparently it's on PS4 and Switch in that region, I guess Microsoft really wanted it on their own console for its US debut. It is coming to Windows 10 PCs too, so that's cool.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Hmm. I’m curious about deathloop, will get blades, maybe Minecraft Dungeons, youngbloodand doom eternal. I was excited about games like ori but the 2020 dates toss it back to don’t care status.
That being said I think for scarlet I will just get the ultimate game pass and put windows 10 on pc. It should cover most games that I shall play and at this point there isn’t a lot on the way that I want to own. So renting is good enough. The only way I am buying scarlet at this point is if they announce BC (only reason I want a ps5).
Ready for Tuesday.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
These CGI trailers ruin any excitement i have for these newly announced games. I hope they show gameplay for Death Loop and Ghost Wire Tokyo one of these days.
I'm also disappointed Bethesda didn't announce any ports for the Switch. I thought they would at least port over The Evil Within or Dishonored. Or hell even 2014 Wolfenstein. Switch is getting no love from none of these third party publishers.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
So far this E3 has been somewhat underwhelming. There's some good games coming, but so far this year is confirming my suspicions that we saw the last "big wave" of new titles for this generation announced at last year's E3 as far as the twins go. Everybody is busy preparing for next gen at this point.
I don't expect Ubisoft and Square Enix to change that feeling tomorrow.
Nintendo is kinda separate for obvious reasons, but even then I'm not expecting any more than 1 new game announced for next year. It'll almost entirely be the games we know about for this year with some third party ports announced.
Btw, i want to know Ubisoft's habit during E3 long time ago (Wii and NDS era).
Did they reveal their localized games for Wii and NDS directly from E3 presentations or separated trailers outside of E3 ?
The games i meant are such as Imagine series, Petz series, Casual games for NDS, English version of some Japanese games, etc.
I feel like this was Microsoft's year, and I don't know what they did that was any better than any Microsoft conference. Maybe because a lot of the cooler stuff leaked I dunno. I thought last year's was great but this was just...last year's again. But kinda less. And the exclusives focused on the same games they always do. It wasn't bad, but it needed to be more exciting than it was.
And Bethesda is kinda stuck with bad video games currently and their new games aren't ready to show gameplay, so that was...nothing.
Y'know, Nintendo might win after all. I wasn't necessarily expecting that (since Nintendo seems more interested in actually announcing new games at any other time nowadays), but they've shown little of most of their upcoming games so there's a lot we could get out of it.
@kkslider5552000 If Nintendo doesn't "win" (whatever that means), there's an issue. They have a ton of big games coming this year, and the opportunity to show off extensive gameplay footage for each.
My favorite reveal so far was that GhostWire game. I feel like there's a lot of potential there.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
Eh. Let's wait until the Direct before we complain about a lack of third-party support. Who knows what Nintendo wants to reveal themselves.
Bethesda only announced a mobile port, if they had more to announce they would've announced them then and there. EA is only releasing a downgraded Fifa version, Capcom got nothing for the Switchatm, WB got a lego game. Square Enix and Ubisoft are coming up, but i doubt they'll have something for the Switch knowing the next gen consoles are just around the corner.
Switch also isn't getting Dying Light 2, DBZK, CyberPunk, Elden Ring and Outer Worlds. I don't think some "Direct" is going to change the third party situation. Especially when Nintendo has multiple games to talk about in a short amount of time.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Well that was rather crap from Microsoft. Nothing bad but nothing memorable. I really wanted Halo gameplay and some new Fable.
The best thing so far is that they've just uploaded another short trailer for FF7 remake at the concert in LA. Which isn't technically part of E3. But more tomorrow at the Squenix show. It releases March 2020 though. Right before Cyberpunk.
