Yeah, they explicitly said that 2019 games will be shown at a later date. Why would they say that if they're going to show them anyway? It sounds like they're lowering our expectations, just like Sony did by saying they're going to focus on four games. Pre-emptive damage control

Its good that they put expectations in check. Nothing more infuriating than seeing a company be blamed for not showing things they never said they would show.

Ha, they’ll be blamed anyways. It’s not like Nintendo doesn’t mislead occasionally anyways.

I'm going to complain if they show a 2019 game.

@-Green- I agree they'll still be blamed, remember before the Switch reveal when Nintendo specifically mentioned nothing to do with NX would appear in Directs and then people complained there was nothing to do with NX in the Directs.

Now when they said 2018 games only were they just talk g about the direct or all of E3? As in maybe they can show 2019 games in the tree house perhaps. Maybe one of you guys can clarify

@redd214 That's an odd one given Bowser's Inside Story. Though Nintendo could just announce a bunch of 2018 3DS games during Treehouse Live, like maybe that Link's Awakening remake rumour still happens.

@Grumblevolcano man Links Awakening is one of my favorite Zelda games. Will be miffed if it's 3ds only. I can understand the logic behind it but I would sadly have to skip it.

Paladins was spotted on the European eshop, 60fps, and Crossplay. and comes out on June 12, 2018 in Europe. ( world wide release?)

June 12th? Definitely got to be the 'after this presentation' game, possibly along with Fortnite.

Sony Day 2 reveal is Days Gone releasing on February 22nd 2019.

Is nobody surprised Paladins isn't an E3 anouncement? This means Nintendo could have a few surprises that haven't been leaked.

I'm liking the contrast here. Sony is announcing things quite a ways out in the run up to E3, one new game that isn't really new, and a game we keep seeing's release date for February, both in somewhat hyped live reveals.

Nintendo just dropped a trailer for Paladins on Twitter and slapped a date of "It's on Tuesday" on it and walked away.

Two different styles of presenting, one doesn't lend itself to disappointment and a 7 month wait for more zombies.

Though that VR Tetris though...

Nintendo basically just said "ah screw it, you already know about it anyways"
