Pretty sure the two Atlus titles will be localizations of Persona 3 and 5 Dancing.

@Grumblevolcano Says who? It's not on their Twitter.

@link3710 Hmm, interesting, that makes sense. Did you ever notice that your character ran on their own to the right if you were holding the stick when the screen transitioned to reply? I thought my stick was picking up drift (to match my first GamePad and a pile of XBox controllers) but went to calibration. There was a small "not resetting to 0" if I flicked upward at times....I recalibrated, and now I can't get it to not center always in the test screen. But Tennis had my character running always right like a drift issue.

@Grumblevolcano Just says they will be publishing the game in North America for the system. Nothing from GalaxyTrail or on other regions outside of North America.

@NEStalgia No? I honestly didn't have to deal with anywhere near as much lag as most people it seemed, and I played roughly a hundred matches. Maybe one out of every ten or so was bad, but I never had drift like that.

@BouncingHat Well, let's look at the most relevant comparison then. Metroid II: The Return of Samus is easily considered the worst of the Metroid games, was and still is 2D.
Sales were:
Original: 1.76 Million
Remake: Over a half Million (best numbers I could get. Almost certainly less than one million as well)

Now then, those aren't great numbers on the face of it, but there's a couple of plusses. The most recent handheld entries (Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Zero Mission) are both well in range to be outsold by this remake. Unlike Metroid as well, Zelda's strength as an IP has actually gotten stronger over time, instead of weaker. And Zelda II is the one game in the series even many hardcore Zelda fans have never had the chance to play, so that's actually a plus for them.

What it comes down to is a remake of Adventures of Link would almost certainly be cheap to produce and almost every single Legend of Zelda game (including every remake except for the ill-fated Twilight Princess HD which was technically only a remaster) has sold over a million copies. The chances of it not being profitable are slim to none, which means it is possible we'll see it some day.

@NEStalgia Nope, that's an issue with Mario Tennis' netcode.

Well, that certainly is a highly appropriate problem, for a tennis game...

I guess you could say Mario Tennis's netcode is all tangled up.

Freedom Planet's cool, but not terribly big on it. I played it once on Steam and had a good time, but I had little reason to replay it.

@link3710 Hmm, maybe it's my stick after all, but not in the test screen. Though lag was so bad in some matches that I couldn't serve. I'd toss the ball...mash a swing button like crazy....and nothing....ball drops back down. I had many that they had 3 bars, I said "ok" to play them, and then they'd drop to red, never recover and the whole match was just me waiting for it to end. I had good matches too...but so many it would seem like as soon as I started doing well they suddenly became great.....I'd look at the lag meter and realize, oh, they're now lagging right after they were losing (many players were actually great start to finish of course....much to my frustration )

Shame about TP:HD. That was the only version of TP that seemed playable to me, and I loved it. I imagine even Nintendo understand it failed because WiiU was over and done at that point, though. I'm certain it will come to Switch.

Welp, Paladins got leaked on the eShop the same way Fortnite did yesterday.

Paladins was rumored to be coming to the Switch waaaaay before today, and even before that "paper leak" with Fortnite, Mario Tennis Aces, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and etc. But yeah, more games to play is always welcome, I won't say no to more games coming to the Switch.

@BouncingHat To be fair, if an HD remake happened on Switch, I'd expect it to fall in at the L35/$40 price mark anyways, similarly to the price point that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is launching at. Not all Switch games are launching at the highest price point after all. Still, an LOZ / AOL package would be amazing if it did happen.

@EvilLucario This could actually clear the path for Overwatch to come to the switch as well, if this works out for Paladins.

Considering they are revealing Fire Emblem and Smash, a good portion will be dedicated to those/
