@NEStalgia It sounds like it, but after well over five years of having to have translated all the bs and crap that international criminals spout, my cousin himself actually feels it's about time to move on to something more inspiring...

It's like Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey, by the time the game releases I will stop caring.
EDIT: I was just hoping they would every now and then do a surprise announcement and show off that, like with Samus Returns. Remember that?
I just don't get what is wrong with Nintendo ... smh.
They have so much interesting content and they totally blow this E3 nonetheless. Why did they not remind people that they have Bayo 3 and No More Heroes as exclusives by showing some interviews and updates on the development?
Even Treehouse is boring and annoying af this time (and i really, really like the treehouse sections normally). Just a few suggestions:
Wolfenstein - yes, it's already out for some months on other platforms, but not everybody already bought it (like me, although i own a PS4). Why not sell me on the Switch-Version? Tell me if there are motion controls in it. Show me, how well the game plays in Handheld-Mode.
SNK Heroines - Why not play that for half an hour? Show off the different characters, outfits, explain the combo system etc.
Mario Tennis - Why not make a tournament for that game, like Splatoon 2 and Smash Bros.? Would be interesting to see that game in action this way.
Why not dedicate 30 Minuten to the two Remakes for 3DS? Would not hurt to show that off instead of the sixth Smash-Session ...
And there is so much more! They could have a much more varied and interesting show, could sell some 3rd party games to people who are not Hardcore-Nintendo-Fans and give their partners a chance to shine with their games!
So overall, while there will be good games of course for Switch during the next months, i am very disappointed by Nintendos Show. So much, that i am kind of looking forward to the moment that E3 is over. Yes, i am that annoyed by Nintendo trying to shove Smash constantly down my throat.
@ThanosReXXX LOL, I don't blame him! I mean, that was kind of implied by "UN".
@Tsurii You know that picture of Sad Yoshi from Mario Tennis Aces? That's what I'm seeing right now. It's a Yoshi game, why does this take 3 years to make? Are they re-making it as an open world, shared online experience with lifelike traversal by air, land and sea, destructable environments, and 64 player Battle Royale? It's a game that was playable a year ago! Yoshi should not take longer than Crackdown 3 to make.
@ThanosReXXXMORE smash? Seriously? I just don't get Nintendo. For years they had "transitional E3s" with one or two games to highlight. This year they have a popular console and a stacked release schedule, and they show only one game over and over. I don't know if NCL has just decided NoA doesn't matter, or if this is what Reggie has decided is going to sell.
Heck, want to win E3, air that gravure dating chat game in all Japanese that I was telling rjejr about that's inexplicably on the NoA eShop as coming soon. Everyone from the PC room will buy a Switch on-site.
@NEStalgia Yeah, it's really getting ALL the love this year. For now, they've switched (pun intended) to a bit of Octopath Traveler, but with a few more hours to go and also another day of Treehouse, I wouldn't be surprised at all, if we're going to get another Smash session...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
How did Nintendo manage to have playable footage of Yoshi in June 2017 and yet not have it ready for late 2018/ early 2019 release? That seems weird to me. It's a 2D game for the most part.
@Octane Well, the bar has been set pretty high. The cardboard graphics from Nintendo Labo are exceedingly lifelike, it's in like 200k and 3D with complete HDR and specularity shaders. Yoshi Cardboard needs to look at least that good when it comes out.
Now that you mention it: THAT is the problem! Cardboard yoshi was probably supposed to sell Labo, and since Labo is tanking faster than World of Tanks, they have to either cut out the Labo tie in or soup it up to make it a syste...err...cardboard seller!
@ZockiGalore "Tell me if there are motion controls in it. Show me, how well the game plays in Handheld-Mode."
If you're curious, Bethesda confirmed motion controls, and showed (simulated?) handheld play at their conference. Thus they rank ahead of Nintendo in our lists
I expect Yoshi to look completely different the next time we see it. I think expecting Animal Crossing at E3 was a bit over optimistic with the Animal Crossing team working on the Octo Expansion.
@Mrtoad Nintendo disassembled their team about two years ago. They're all under the same banner, meaning people can move from one project to the other. So no separate teams within EAD anymore. They could work on Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing at the same time in theory.
On another note, that Super Mario Party session earlier today was great. It looks like the best Mario Party in years (though that's not exactly a high bar )
@ThanosReXXX oh man yes it does! Loved Armored Core as a kid and this looks like a great successor so far. Hope we get a release date/window in the stream.
I hoped we would see 1 or 2 nice 3DS-games after the Direct (like a new Zelda or a new Warioland), but even that is of the map. This Nintendo E3 presentation is one of the worst I have ever seen (I watch it a couple of years now). Now If super smash was a totally new one they would redeem themselves a bit. But guess what, its Smash 4 Deluxe! FAILURE!!!
