Holy **** The Last of Us Part II looks gorgeous

I had the Ubi conference playing in the backround while playing some games. Seems like all I missed was exactly 1 minute of BG&E2 gameplay? Geez...may as well have had some static on instead...

I also missed the first 10 minute's of Sony's conference. Were we being punked with that banjo sequence? Seriously, I couldn't figure out the context for that...

Was already sold, but I'm really hyped for The Last of Us Part II now.

On a side note, there's an intermission?!

Sony's conference reeks of "We have nothing to show". So they're spending all of this time and doing all of this immersion BS and having people walk from one stage to another, for 4 games? Definitely padding. Terrible E3 so far. Nintendo could win this one easily even if they don't have a single new announcement. Smash and Prime 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this garbage.

Alright, they've convinced me with Spiderman now that they've shown actual believable gameplay. Looks like it'll be a satisfying beat em up. Gotta say I'm pretty okay with this conference already

Resident Evil 2 was the star of that show for me. Last of Us 2 looks great, although very similar to the first (not sure what else I was expecting).

My new ranking would be:

Q4 of 2018 and Q1 of 2019 is like one of the biggest release windows in gaming history I swear. There's like 15 really big and unique AAA games coming out in the space of about 4 months.

So with the main conference over, I'd say that Sony's show was quite good. That intermission when they were moving the audience between tents was... odd to say the least.

The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and Spider-Man all look fantastic. We got Death Stranding gameplay that answered nothing and gave us even more questions... exactly as expected lmao. I think we can all agree that we still won't understand it after the credits roll after playing it.

RE2 remake is really soon (January 25th!), new KH3 trailer showing PotC, Nioh 2 announced, and Remedy's new game Control was announced. Solid showing overall.
