Maybe, just maybe we'll see Rayman in Smash tomorrow...
Ubisoft and Nintendo are literally best friends right now, so Rayman in Smash is a huge possibility.
@Vee_Flames Dependent on how recent Smash goes this time, Rabbid Peach may be more likely for Smash. Like lots of people are expecting Rex & Pyra and XC2 is a really recent game, I'm undecided since Inklings are a Wii U era character so maybe Elma from XCX will come instead.
A bit disappointed that Child of Light 2 or a new Rayman weren't announced, but I'm still happy with what Ubi showed. Trials will be a ton of fun on Switch, and Starlink is looking way better than I initially gave it credit for. And that Starfox crossover tho
I think Ubi did much better than all the others just in terms of games I personally want. Looking forward to the last 2! No Splinter Cell was a bit of a shocker, thought that was a lock
@redd214 True, but I also remembered that, since I already stated that Nintendo was the anomaly, and Sony isn't Nintendo, so they simply won't be able to achieve that. They have never done so, and they never will. Neither does Microsoft, by the way...
@NEStalgia Ah, okay. My bad, then. Sorry for misunderstanding. Boy, that Ubisoft show was pretty decent, wasn't it? Except for the obligatory Just Dance part, they certainly showed some interesting stuff.
AC Odyssey was beautiful, and the setting is probably one of my most favorite ones ever.
And if the next Xbox is going to be called the XBox Threeie, then it's probably going to come bundled with a Banjo controller...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@Octane Neither of them are spinoffs from what I've heard. This one is just an inclusion/collaboration with a different game, the other is supposedly Retro's interpretation of what Star Fox should be.
@Grumblevolcano Well, I hate repeating myself, but once again, completely agreed with your ranking.
Ubisoft had a great show. Lots of good stuff. I really hope that the rest of E3 isn't going to be all downhill from here...

@Grumblevolcano I think when it comes to who gets to be playable in Smash, Sakurai has all the say. Regardless of whether the character is recent or old, if Sakurai can't get the character a good moveset, then the character isn't happening.
With that said, I still think Rayman might have a good chance, more-so now than ever due to Ubisoft and Nintendo's healthy relationship. Rabbid Peach may indeed (or not) get into the roster, but I see her as an assist trophy of sorts rather than an actual playable character.
Regardless of what happens, I'm just going to hope and pray that Professor Layton gets into Smash. If he did, that would make my whole year!
