@GrailUK Nah, there won't be that many. Just Xbox, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, Square Enix, PlayStation, and possibly Warner, Bandai Namco, Capcom and Bethesda. But, these will all be owned by Disney soon so I guess it won't be so bad

@Octane I don't either: I got the S, not the X. Still, facts remain facts regardless: better on Xbox One X.
And of course, it's not all about the pixels, as demonstrated by the mentioning of Forza Horizon 4 having a 60fps mode on the Xbox One X, where the series was previously always locked to 30fps. Some people find that a kind of a must-have, in racing games...

@GrailUK Just wait for Nintendo's subscription service. I hope you have your mobile ready... and that it will forever be within 5 yards of your Switch at all times otherwise the service won't work and you will be locked out of the service and your console. Also make sure you have infinite data and never need to charge your phone otherwise you'll lose everything.

@GrailUK Guess we'll find out soon enough. Them mentioning being dedicated to new hardware was actually good news to me, so I'm not feeling all that apocalyptic yet.
@KirbyTheVampire Time will tell, but they did hit it out of the park this E3, and a lot of what they revealed, showed definite promise, and having the best performance AND graphics on third party games is really nothing to scoff at, in the larger picture and actually IS important to quite a few gamers.
We haven't invented insulting names like graphics wh.... for nothing...
And PS4 getting most of what was shown.... meh, that's a bit over the top. 15 big exclusive titles, and a hell of a lot of ID@Xbox indie titles, so there was more than enough there to make the Xbox One a platform to take notice of again.
Sony has it's work cut out for it, so if they don't match that number, or do something spectacular of their own, they've already lost. They've become lazy and complacent, while sitting on their number one pedestal, and of late, they really haven't come out swinging with anything other than the new God of War game, which admittedly does look VERY good and interesting, but other than that? We'll see if they can make something of it or not, soon enough...

@ThanosReXXX What confuses me is, they announce plans for new powerful hardware, yet also mention cloud streaming to any device. I fear we are being boiled alive and we are all enjoying the tepid water...The future sounds like an awful lot of subscriptions.
What I think is happening is Microsoft is giving an alternative to upgrading to the XB1 successor. Say Halo Infinite is a XB1 successor launch title for example but if you want to play it on XB1 you can via streaming.
1. Kingdom Hearts III (was already hyped, but still)
Still not seen a single Final Fantasy character in the game.
Cool to see Frozen though. My inner 10 year old girl loved that movie (I've genuinely watched it like 5 times)
I'm very excited for Tales of Vesperia on Switch. I love JRPGs but I've never played a Tales game so this will be my first. Wasn't there supposed to be a brand new Tales game coming to Switch too? I've been holding out on Tales of Berseria on PS4 because I was thinking it would get ported to Switch and I prefer to play my RPGs there, but it looks like that's not happening so I'll go ahead and bump ToB PS4 up my wish list.
Kinda hilarious NintendoLife has yet to report on Vesperia, but had a full guide for Fortnite out.
Wait, they do reporting?
Anywho, that trailer...got me too excited. I'm getting Tales of Vesperia on the PS4 so it'll be closer to the rest of of my Tales collection on my shelf. And of course so I can play it again right away...I seriously could barely contain myself! This game was so fun...so many memories...and now it'll include all the new content that has been talked up for almost 10 years! I hope it releases in December so I'll have time to finish it before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out...assuming it doesn't get hit with another delay, of course...
@ThanosReXXX Graphics and performance are undoubtedly important, but if raw power is what a person is looking for, they can find that on a PC in spades, not to mention the fact that pretty much all Xbox "exclusives" are also playable on PC. The power is a nice feature, don't get me wrong, but if pretty graphics and performance is what you're after, there's a better option. However, they do certainly have a leg up over Sony in this area.
As for those 15 exclusives, how many of those were truly exclusive, and not just timed exclusives or games that are also playable on PC?
And yes, Sony hasn't been doing an awful lot on the exclusive side of things lately (certainly not anywhere near as much as Nintendo), but they're definitely doing a lot better than Xbox. That may begin to change over time though, as this conference was pretty promising for Microsoft. I have my doubts when it comes to them overtaking or even matching Sony on that front any time soon, though, especially since timed exclusives or games that are also playable on PC don't really compare to true exclusivity.

While I don't see Sony necessarily topping Microsoft this year at all, the second part of your statement is just a bit over the top. This year alone they've had a few bangers outside of GOW. Detroit just a week ago MLB in Feb, Yakuza 6 in April, Ni no Kuni in March. Spiderman coming in September, Days Gone in February, and I'd guess at least 2 of the games they're featuring tomorrow will for sure hit 2019 as well. They had 4 legit GOTY contenders released last year alone released within weeks of each other and had a number of other solid games like Gravity Rush 2, Uncharted LL, Shadow of the Colossus remake etc. When exactly did the lazy and complacent start because it certainly hasn't been for the last few years? Perhaps not one of those games appeals to you but it's delusional to say that they haven't been on it "as of late". I know you hate Sony but don't let that get in the way of reason.
But like I said I highly doubt Sony can top the conference of Microsoft this E3, it was spectacular all around imo!
@GrailUK i don't know. Gamepass exists because streaming sucks. The faq says as much. And it's a tepid catalog. I get the impression ubi/2k/ea is pushing streaming subs, oblivious to how bad that will work for so many potential customers. Sony already had full on streaming and it sucks and is unpopular even while being a great value. I feel like ms is saying "yeah that streaming stuff is all thre rage and were working on it if you're into sucky play like investors LOOK NEW XBOX SOON, X1X IS UNPRECEDENTED POWER"

I don't understand this. Xbox showed a bunch of multiplats, some DLC, CrackDown's release date, announced 2 games with no gameplay and a bunch of Gears titles. But for some reason Sony has it's work cut out for them? I think many people on here are on that E3 high.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
@Dezzy Aladdin is "new" Disney to me. Anything newer I know nothing of it's existence.
@KirbyTheVampire but you're still forgetting that pc generally means windows, and "exclusives also come to pc" is the point of the Microsoft platform. They treat pc like a third xbox model (or treat xbox like a little windows pc), thus Play Anywhere. That's not a negative. No, if you play pc to don't need an xbox.... That seems to be by design rather than oversight.
Then there's also the fact that Microsoft products for PC have to utilize the Windows App Store, which I still hate. Apps don't close properly if I don't force-close them with the task manager (they'll "close" but remain open in the backround, eating up my ram and processing speed), it adds yet-another platform that my games are stuck to, as if Steam + GoG + Humble Bundle + Publisher-specific platforms like Battle.Net weren't confusing enough. I have to check multiple services before I buy any PC game just to make sure I'm not buying the same game twice, and if I delete a game, but want to redownload it, I have to search through a host of different libraries...
That's not even getting into how painful it is to navigate the Windows Store...pass. I'll just get an Xbox One eventually.
