@Octane W3 (Witcher 3 I guess) Leave greed to others? What does that mean?
It was something CD Projekt said when responding to questions about whether there'd be microtransactions in the game.
It was their way of saying "you just pay 1 price and get a full game"
I'd still expect an expansion or two at some point, but yeah, I'm glad it seems like they're still commited to releasing a finished product. It may be because it's the main studio meant to attract people to their distribution service, but it's still something I wish was the gold standard.
As for Crackdown 3 coming out the same day as Metro: Exodus - I don't have an Xbox One and won't get one until after I get a Nintendo Switch some time next year. So there. Easy decision, still.
@CanisWolfred DLC is very possible, just like Witcher 3. But they announce everything ahead of time (at least they did last time, when, how much, etc.). But it's safe to say that the base game is $60, and will provide at least 100 hours of gameplay if TW3 is anything to go by.
Great to hear that Microsoft had a good show. They never seem to have a worthwhile E3, but it appears they nailed it this year. A new Battletoads is a nice surprise.
Bethesda will have their show in less than lesss 3 hours. I wonder if Bethesda will announce anything Switch related after all Skyrim is a consistent seller on the Switch’s EShop at least here in the US (#42 right now) and on Amazon US and Doom is almost always in the top 100.
What were everyone's favourite trailers then? Not necessarily which games you'll like the most but which trailers did the best job of creating hype for the games?

@CanisWolfred True, but still, if you showed me that trailer and told me that it was Nioh 2, I'd have no trouble believing you. It's just too similar for my taste, but I'm glad that people seem to like it for the most part.

Wow, that was a pretty damn decent presentation. Glad to see far less blabla than at EA Play, and besides that just games, games, games. Which is what an E3 presentation should be all about, after all. Next up: Bethesda, but I don't think they're going to beat Microsoft's presentation, so what it comes down to so far, is that Microsoft is way ahead at the moment. Nintendo and Sony better bring it...

Well, isn't that exactly what I said? I specifically stated that I like her in the series that she's in, but live on stage, over-doing the popular bad@ss gaming-chick thing, simply doesn't appeal to me, at ALL...
@Dezzy post-apocalyptic might actually become all the rage in real life too, in a decade or 5, if we keep going like we're going now...
As for my personal best trailers list:
1. Forza Horizon 4
2. Gears of War 5
3. Devil May Cry 5
4. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
5. Halo Infinite
And honorable mentions are Black Desert, the gorgeous new Ori game, and Tunic, that classic Zelda-esque game with the Fox.
But even if they do, they will still be looking leagues better on Xbox One X, and that was also exactly the message: better on Xbox One...
So, if you're getting paid to tell the truth, you better start upping your game, because you're doing a terrible job at the moment...
As for Jump Force: kinda agreed on the name, although I do think it's not too difficult to see how that came about: characters from various franchises jumping into each other's universes, and joining forces to fight evil: Jump Force.
And it'll probably also feature a "jump in any time" option, for friends who will want to join while you're already busy playing, so that's another jump reference for ya...
Then again: the Jump magazine reference that somebody else mentioned earlier could also be an explanation.
And I don't think it's all that unclear what the game is about, so I wonder why people wouldn't be able to see that it's a fighting game, seeing as most will know the Naruto and Dragon Ball fighting games, so I don't think that they will link these characters to any other genre than that.
Anyway, the name may not be all that great, the game itself definitely looks highly intriguing to me, so it's on my radar as of now.
@NEStalgia The Division probably wasn't the best of the show, but I didn't think it looked that bad. And the last part, with the battle around and in Air Force One was actually pretty entertaining in my opinion.
But yeah, it's a VERY good time to be an Xbox One owner. Lots of games, lots of variety, and Microsoft committing to making their services even better than they already are. They really DID nail it, as promised.
Good on them, and good for us.
AND to top it off, also definitive news about them making a new, most powerful console, for those who paid attention...

Well, 83 minutes to go until Bethesda takes the stage. I don't think they're going to mention any Switch stuff, because they usually focus on their main titles and on what they're allowed to show, so seeing as they are doing their presentation before Nintendo, any surprises will probably be kept for Nintendo's Direct. Maybe they will show a bit of Wolfenstein 2, but other than that, probably no other Switch stuff.
Dying light 2 looks so good... Why oh why did it have to have zombies? I know... It's in the name.... But alas i have to skip it... But daytime looks so good. I was hoping we would be done the zombie fad by now. It's still so many zombies and post apocalyptic wastelands in every show.
@IceClimbers doesn't ace 7 support psvr? Might be at Sony.
@ThanosReXXX What confuses me is, they announce plans for new powerful hardware, yet also mention cloud streaming to any device. I fear we are being boiled alive and we are all enjoying the tepid water...The future sounds like an awful lot of subscriptions.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
