@IceClimbers@CanisWolfred Sony's 2015 conference was similar to last year's as well. I think it was the 2014 conference you were thinking about. 2015 was Horizon reveal, and straight into The Last Guardian.
I don't get the VR complaints. They're supporting it at least. If they didn't show VR everyone would be complaining they abandoned another piece of hardware
Sony presentation was ok. (Snatching) the monster hunter series could really hurt nintendo. I think it looks good and id definetely skip the warmed up xx on the switch for this. God of war didnt do anything for me this time. That detroit scene: You are free now. Yes well follow you master! xDDD Good slave critique there. Didnt interest me besides that scene.
The only game that really seems to be good is the new spiderman. Sure there were many great cutscenes and quicktime events but the sneeking gameplay looks solid and swinging around town looks fun.
Im still holding out hope we are going to get a console quality traditonal Pokemon game. Im hoping they held it from the Pokemon direct the other day to show it off at E3.

Kinda disappointed in Sony's presentation. Definitely one of their worst in recent years.
On the other hand Ubisofts show was fantastic. But I still think MS have had the best one thus far. Doubt Nintendo will beat it, but they should definitely be able to have a better show than Sony.
It was also pretty interesting to see Sony's approach this year. It was very "rapid fire" with trailers and light on talking. Almost felt like a Nintendo Direct to me, the stage itself was barely used at all.
@19Robb92 It has been like that for the past couple of conferences. The last two E3 and PSX conferences were rapid fire as well. I do agree that this one was their worst in recent years, but I'd still give it an 8 or 9 out of 10. Last year and the year before were just even better IMO. Anyway, Sucker Punch at PSX? So yay!
I guess that's what you get when you reveal games at E3 which will only release 1 or 2 years from now. The next year you'll be showing the same games.
I hope Nintendo sticks to the "this year" approach. The Mario-rabbids reveal is awesome; first time we see the game in action and boom it comes out in the 2 months. Kind of the Apple approach.

No, I meant 2015, but I forgot that I was the only one who wasn't excited about the prospect of training a giant mutant dog to help me with things that any other game would've let me accomplish on my own in far more spectacular fashions...
4 hours 57 minutes until Nintendo. This will be my first Nintendo E3 since i last owned a gamecube. Looking forward to what gets announced for Switch. To be perfectly honest ive been let down by the other big two so it makes a nice change to be really looking forward to Nintendo saving the event. No doubt we will see the Mario rabbits game and a Skyrim release date ( As much as i love skyrim and think its a great fit for the switch i wont buy it for the 3rd or 4th time) im looking forward to some shocks. Nintendo said a couple of months or so ago they have a big event lined up for E3 so i think that gives more than enough reason for us to be excited.

If Nintendo's show is a bit of a flop, this will probably have been the worst E3 that I can recall...
From a viewing standpoint - I've appreciated the slick, snappy formats that many of the presentations have adopted - it's made the whole show a lot more watchable than some in previous years...but the actual content has been very low on quality. There's only been one new piece of hardware - a niche console...the reveals have been pretty mediocre...and, aside from the odd game here-and-there that I'll reserve judgement on until a later date, most of what has been shown has been pretty mundane...
@19Robb92 The last two E3 and PSX conferences were rapid fire as well.
I can't speak for PSX, but I disagree regarding past E3 presentations. Last year they had an entire concert present at the stage and talked more frequently in-between segments. This year show was a lot more rapid-fire then I've seen them do before.
@19Robb92 Sony had the highest percentage of games vs talking last year, so I don't know what you're comparing it to in that case. And remember how E3 conferences were 10 years ago? I have no problem if someone comes on stage to speak for a minute. I'm used to fifteen minutes of sales talk, so I don't mind the current set-up (talking about all conferences, not just Sony).
@19Robb92 Someone on the EasyAllies forums (URL below) , I checked and he already did the statistics for this year. The numbers for last year were (percentage games on screen vs no games/talking/crowd shots):
This year Sony had again the highest percentage with 84.2% (so you're right, there is an increase), followed by Microsoft with 70.9%. Ubisoft and Bethesda had 59% games, and EA only 45%.
