I'm somewhat excited for Skyrim on the go now. I'm back to working multiple jobs meaning my handhelds have a purpose again (which just means the Switch is now on beast mode for me) and I also resumed Skyrim again because I hate Fallout 4 and I noticed that I played up until I had to go to work and I was annoyed about having to save and stop playing. Where if I was playing a switch game I could just toss it in my bag and game during my downtime. Switch has already conditioned me that I EXPECT to be able to play whenever time permits. That is a good habit to ingrain in a consumer because now games I wouldn't double dip on, I have to in order to get the "superior version". After all a game played is better than one unplayed. I'm even snagging a bag for my HRAP so I can play fighting games properly during my lunch breaks; I don't usually tote a lot of hardware as I already have my laptop and my 3ds systems (...gotta recharge those). Also I did find out that apparently leaving the PS4 in suspend mode for a month will make it forget what game it was suspending. hmmm, whoops.

25 minutes is just really short man. I'm not really sure what else to say, to be perfectly honest.

Microsoft Conference:

+Well paced
+Xbox One X cheaper than expected
+A lot of really interesting looking games
+A Big variety of art styles

-WAY too many first person games. I'm willing to say at least 60% of the big budget games shown had 1st person gameplay. IMO that's not the best way to play games.
-Too much multiplayer. I still don't see a single-player exclusive that I want to play, and that's a problem

Overall though Microsoft did a damn good job. 9/10

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

25 minutes is forever when you're doing rapid fire announcements and only 1st party games.

Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced

-Green-

@JaxonH I hope so. Maybe I'm just a bit bitter after seeing how long some of the other presentations have been so far.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Single player, and one of the best platformers and metroidvanias ever conceived. Masterpiece.

That said, MS showed a lot of games but almost none of them screamed "must buy" to me aside from Ori. Out of that whole presentation, only one new exclusive game I'm for sure going to preorder...

I've always felt MS never had that many great games. Only own one for the rare gems that pop up from time to time... like Ori... that make it all worthwhile. And I guess now, it'll be the console to own multiplats on rather than PS4 Pro.

Other presentations do a lot of talking, and show extended length gameplay, and fill time with multi platform titles. Nintendo is skipping the speeches, saving all the extended gameplay for the Treehouse afterwards and will only focus on exclusive software. And... said more reveals to come throughout e3, even during the first hour of Treehouse.

Honestly I kinda prefer it that way. Get to the point, share details afterwards. Either way, we're in a good spot. We've got a very robust lineup for the next 6 months regardless. Just wanna see Monster Hunter, Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem.

I hope you're joking.

Yes, the same joking you didn't get from Devolver Digital's amazing conference.

MS had a fantastic showing IMO. Game after game after game. Definitely set the bar high for Sony an Nintendo.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

@19Robb92 I agree. I personally didn't care for most of the games, but they did an amazing job just showing us content after content. No fluff, not many speakers. They even announced more Backwards Compatibility, which I think is very amazing.

Yeah, it was really solid.

I didn't care for most of the games either, but it was still fun to watch them reveal them all. I was just sad to see that Biowares new title was another "Destiny" type game, very disappointing IMO.

I didn't watch it but that's my take on it and e3 in general so far. Lots of "meh" but looking forward to Ori. I assume it's still coming to PC, if so I'll definitely get it. Cup head is the other one I'm into... or at least would be if I had not become bored with the idea. How many years ago was that game announced?
