That's why it's called a "hobby." Usually you can't get away with it being a lifestyle

I'm pretty sure most of the guys were also jerks, they just played video games too. If your a polite, nice guy, chances are they won't dump you based on time spent playing video games or on the internet, as long as you pay attention to her too.
Best thread ever

Possibly. I'm sure there's a few percentages in there of guys that just didn't know when to stop playing though.
Those guys need to just find an ugly girl. They will let you do whatever you want whenever you want because their grateful anyone at all is with them....
....or they could put females before video games. Woman > Games. What's the world coming to when guys are screwing that up?
Yeah...that's pretty messed up, all right. It's interesting to note, however, that the article continues on to say that just as many men have a problem with the amount of time their girlfriends spend online as the girls do the guys. Only difference is, the guys are FAR less likely to end a relationship for that reason (6% instead of 20%).
As much of a gaming/internet nut as I am, I ALWAYS put people in general (friends, mostly, seeing as I don't HAVE a girlfriend) before them. It really is sad that some people just can't see that. Seems to me that they don't NEED significant others if they're just going to act like that!
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
What are these creatures they call "girls"? I have never seen one before.....actually i've never seen the sun before....lol Ok now i'm laughing at myself XD

Ah yes, the "it's not me, it's you" syndrome. Because it's not like they knew what they were getting into!
Take my advice, only date people who share (at least some, but preferably most) of your interests and passions.
My girlfriend, who was my best friend for 1 1/2 years before we started dating, and a person I spent literally every day with (she was also my dance partner) - did not know I liked video games.
It's not something you tell a girl when you're courting her - "hey baby, I likes me some Mario!"
And my girlfriend hates games. It's just I'm not stupid enough to spend all my spare time with them, and not her.
