Wow man, didn't realize people here listened to such good tunes! I'm not much of a fan of newer pop music so it is great to see people still listen to the good stuff...
Richie Havens was/is awesome. Freedom is such an epic song, and really fits as well today as it did in the 60's. That's great music for you! I suggest some Medeski, Martin, and Wood for some newer tunes.
I'll have to check out those suggestions from ya, bro! Ever since I can remember, I've liked music...and not just one particular genre - I honestly will give anything a listen once. If I like it, I like it...if not, I move on.
I've been really liking this remix of Jamie Commons's Rumble & Sway despite not liking the "Drop"/second part of the chorus.

The former Hootie & The Blowfish frontman now has a solo country-music career. His latest single, "Wagon Wheel", is a song that was written by Bob Dylan and performed originally by Old Crow Medicine Show.
I actually love this kind of music. My friend once came back from his trip to Asia with an erhu, except after years of struggle he never mastered it. I ended up with a hulusi, except I couldn't get it to play anything more than a single tone. And the sad thing is, there's no way to tell if the instrument's faulty or I'm just not using the correct technique.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
