Topic: Help me choose my next game!

I try to limit my amount of video games, but I have a few options for my next game.

I haven’t played BotW yet, so I want that. I also want Super Mario Maker 2 and whatever you guys think is the best Xenoblade Chronicles game.

Also on my list, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario Party, really any Mario game, Link’s Awakening, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I also kind of want Ring Fit Adventure, but that’s been put on hold!

If you have any suggestions for me, tell me!

Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.

@BabyYoshi65 On a side note, if you find Ring Fit at the normal price in stock, buy it while you have the chance - that thing flies off shelves so bloody fast right now you'd think it was water in the Saharah!

Anyway Xenoblade Chronicles is the best Xenoblade hands down - though I love all 3 games. It's also my personal favorite game.

I'd place Mario Maker 2 above all other currently available 2D Mario titles. It has an awesome single player traditional Nintendo campaign, and countless fan made levels too.

I'd skip Super Mario Party. Fun game, but they never added any more boards and so the game just feels painfully small. Unless you have a friend or two that you know, for sure, they want to play this with you.

You cannot go wrong with Breath of the Wild. It deserves all of its praise. A masterpiece of game design.

Mario Kart 8 DX is great! Best Mario Kart to date! Only reason there's some backlash is because it's getting kind of old and die hard fans are ready for more. (personally I think they should just do another big DLC pack)

Fire Emblem 3 Houses is awesome and quite different from the rest of your list. Even without the DLC there are 4 distinct routes to play through with great characters, a thought provoking story and solid game play. Another personal favorite of mine! It's also a huge value, I've only done 2 out of the 4 main routes and the DLC and I put like 200 hours in thus far.

Smash isn't my thing but I know it's well loved by almost everyone. If you like the game style, I'm sure you'll like Smash Ultimate.

I haven't played Link's Awakening yet, but it's in my backlog and I've watched LPs of the original - a solid choice!

NSMBUDX was a fun game to play through with my roommate back university on Wii U. But I think Mario Maker kinda makes it redundant. Don't get me wrong, it's a very solid 2D Mario title, but I can't recommend it over Mario Maker 2 at all.

-Xenoblade Chronicles is one of the best games I've ever played

-Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is probably the best Mario Kart ever (even if nostalgia makes me prefer DS)

-Smash Bros Ultimate is for people who like Smash Bros and Nintendo. The only people in the world who shouldn't give it a chance are people who don't like either.

-I adore the original Link's Awakening but I haven't bought the remake simply because there's just not enough content to justify paying so much money (especially as a remake of a game that's almost as old as I am). That's my opinion anyway.

-Super Mario Odyssey is amazing too.

But it all depends on your tastes I guess.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive
