I really don't like the newer generations Pokémon. They are getting uglier with each generation. I love HG/SS because you mostly see normal people from the first two generations. But in the later generations, it looks like they just don't care. Why does Magneton need to evole into the ugly Magnezone, why does Rhydon need to evolve in the horrible Rhyperior. And what's up with the terrible Electivire (Electabuzz evolution) and Magmortar (Magmar's evolution)? They look horrible (and I could see them in HG/SS.

i would pick soul silver because I live lugia and groudon but it doesnt mean i wont get heart gold i would get bot of them and i would pick cyndaquil because i love the fire types.
on heart gold you get kyogre instead of groudon and other different normal pokemon that you cant get on soul silver

I don't know why...but I prefer Ho-Oh over Lugia...I think I stated that already, but whatever. Anyways yeah, I may end up getting this sometime soon.

actually i don't know why but thinking about lugia, it feels as if lugia isn't a strong Pokemon and ho-oh is strong. i just see lugia as a very rare Pokemon not legendary.
does that sound weird ?

Umm. . . Yes
But, thinking about it, I think I see what you mean. They're both rare, but Lugia seems less so. I can imagine there being more then one Lugia, but there's only one Ho Oh (Maybe that has something to do with the baby lugia from the anime).

I just beat red. All my pokemon were 10 levels lower then his (and I had 1 HM slave for rock climb), so I wasn't really expecting to win. But I managed to, using only 1 Revival Herb and 1 Hyper potion

What's this 2nd region I've been hearing about anyways? How does that work? Do you just continue the game and the gyms there are just harder?

Ok, this is stupid, lol. Anyone have a list of the Gold/Silver Pokedex? Wanna see if I can go ahead and trade some of my EV trained Pokemon from Platinum so I can crush the E4 already. xD (I think Tyranitar is trade-able, not sure...)

Really? Thought you had to get the National Dex first before trading generations after G/S...

NO, you can trade any pokemon you feel like. They just won't show up on your pokedex.

I never really bothered to trade pokemon to Soul Silver because I thought it was pretty easy to beat the elite four ^{and I didn't know that either}

If you need any other help of getting a particular pokemon which I may have to beat the elite four, I am the person to ask.

No thanks, honestly the Pokemon I have from my other game (that I plan on getting rid of anyways) were EV trained and could easily crush anything, lol. I just wanna get all that stuff out of the way and move on to other things. xD

...About Giratina, kinda forgot that the orbs couldn't go with the three legendaries. But how do you get the orb from one game to the other, if its even possible. Cause I like Giratina's other form better, lol.

I don't think you can transfer the same orb (it unequippes when you go into the Union room, right?). There is an event, however. It happned last year, and Arceus was given away at Toys R Us. If you did have it, then by transferring it to HG you activate an event where you get to pick a lvl 1 Palkia, Dialga, or Giritina. I'm pretty sure THAT giritini is holding the orb (but not 100% sure).
So far as I know, there's no other way to get the orb, sorry.
