Topic: Spirit Flute being retarded...

Need help....been able to get through the songs and all that, but I'm stuck on Ocean Realm one where you play with Carben. The Flute is just glitchy, tried blowing farther away and it barely picks it up, where closer and its just like, on and off. Kinda annoying, help.

on that one in particular, I noticed it was alot easier to breathe out fast little "shots" of air, almost like every note it was like I was doing a blow gun.

Didn't have any trouble with it, but I'd suggest MoFaJo's approach.

Are you playing on a DSi? On the DSi it should work just fine, but if you're really having trouble I've found that blowing through a straw with the one end aimed at the mic works really well (even though it looks silly). Also, make sure you're playing only when the camera pans over to you--I wasn't doing that and I was stuck on one of those things for three days.

The straw thing does sound stupid. XD I'll try MoFa's idea first though, and yeah I have a DSi.

I had that problem with the last Lokomo. I had to resort to yelling loudly instead of just blowing into the microphone.

Keep a constant blow, and move the flute fast over notes that not need to be played and youll be fine.

It can be a bit breathtaking to play the flute but it is definatley fun. You're actually playing instead pushing a button to make Link do so like in Ocarina of Time.
