And no, "these game" (sic) are not boring. My goodness, hulklol, how you manage to lump an entire genre into a very small view of the world, I will never know.
I have an iPad, so I will stick to that version of this game, but certainly the DSi version will be better, by nature, than the iPhone version - because it's a better gaming platform (the iPad > both, mind)
@WatzElf, it just my opinion, I have played these game and I find it boring, but it ist just my opinion, if you find these game the best game ever created by the humanity, its your opinion, and thats OK.
Perhaps, but 1) not every opinion is correct, and 2) it was completely unnecessary for you to come into a thread about a tower defence game to say tower defence games suck.
Remember, there are people here that might not have played Plants Vs Zombies. Considering you are in the very small minority, it's doing them a disservice with that opinion of yours - they will probably enjoy the game.
@WaltzElf; What? Not every opinion is correct? There are no right or wrong opinions, and What? I have never said that tower defence game sucks, they are great!!!! One of my favourite genre I must admit, but Plant vs Zombies, in my opinion, is not sooo good, I find it a little boring.
I wasn't going to get this because I already got it for $3 on my iTouch (I love it btw) and this is going to cost $20, but it looks like there are pretty significant improvements in this over the iTouch/Phone version, based on the trailer. It certainly won't sway people who never liked it, but I do think I might just have to buy it now.

Looks like the graphics took a hit (iPhone scores again ), but it's good to see new minigames and a versus mode. I'll wait to see how much they beef it up before getting it. I've already played it for hours, like most people, but I've got a feeling PopCap knows what they're doing if they're really going through with a retail version of a casual, budget game that came out over a year ago.
Gonna pass on this one...mainly because, well...I have it already on my computer. xD And like Waltz said, opinions are opinions...but PvZ did get a lot of good attention, correct me if I'm wrong, but...Game of the Year? The only thing I will admit is once you unlock everything and complete all of the mini-games and whatnot, it does start to get boring after that...but still find it to be a great game.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
That does sound like a bit of a hard sell to me. Practically every computer is capable of playing this game and is only $10 on Steam. Of course, the game will probably also go on sale at some point for $5 or less and I believe you can use the Steam Cloud for that game; meaning you can continue your progress on another computer. The game is definitely better suited toward a more portable platform, so that may not be everyone`s tastes. I can see this game going to $10 soon after release, which is about what the game is offered for most other places. For the Game of the Year edition that is.

I wonder if PopCap will release a stripped-down version on DSiWare like they did with Bejeweled Twist and Bookworm. That may be worth checking out to see if the full version is right for me.
Quite excited about this but am waiting to see how much it's going to be in the UK. Hopefully it won't be a full priced (£29.99) release, but I'm not holding my breath.
They'll probably release this for 3ds ware but I wouldn't hold your breath. It's a good game. tried it on my laptop. This does have all the bonus modes so they are trying to make it worth it, but they have to price it this high because of production costs.
