I don't know if this was made but I was just wondering what the reward is for owning Mighty Flip Champs while playing Shantae, I used to have it but then I got in a situation where I lost all my DSiware, long story, but what do you get in Shantae for owning MFC?

Yes there is. You get a little extra gold in Shantae if it detects MFC on your DSi. It's not that much really but it helps. You also get more gold for finishing MFC, I believe.

eh, not worth re-buying, I beat it when I had it, but thanks =)

How did you lose it? O_o

EDIT: Also I love the irony that if we could get the chance for some extra gold IRL we'd jump at the chance, but not in a video game.

Well I was trying to send my DSi in for repairs but I didn't know what to do, so we were looking online and then he was reading out things of what I had to do, and my friend being him, he clicked a different link about deleting your whole system data, so I was kinda wondering why I should, confirmed with him, and he said yes. so I did, then he said delete your shop channel, again, strangely confirmed, and then I sent it in, well, I got it back about a week or two later and then my stuff was still gone, I called nintendo and they said that I should've never done that and that my friend had clicked a wrong link and mis-read stuff that I shouldn't have done, I was talking with them for about an hour and they said they would credit my DSi Shop Account for what I had lost, which was about 22000 Points, I don't know why, but instead of them telling me to buy my games back, they said, buy whatever you want, so I had 22000 free points (approx. $220, amazing huh.) and I was able to spend it on anything that I wanted, thus, losing my previous games, I bought new ones.

There you have it, my long story, moral of the story, when sending ANYTHING in for repairs, do it yourself, also, I don't suggest trying this to scam free points (to anyone reading) because I just BARELY got mine back, I was almost out, $220. If you want any questions, just ask.

Wow, that was an amazing offer you got. Now you have the chance to buy all the good games back and spend the rest on new ones! That's awesome!

But yeah, it's not really worth buying MFC just to get that extra gold in Shantae lol.

Oh, well that's a really nice thing Nintendo did for you! I would be overjoyed to get all my money spent on the DSi Shop refunded. I have a few purchases that I might not be compelled to purchase if given a second chance. The desire isn't strong enough for me to try to do the same thing though. Like you said, You barely got the refund and up until now, I didn't think Nintendo EVER did things like that. Out of curiosity, did they use you Club Nintendo account to see exactly what you have bought?

They've got a record of being very generous to gamers who break or lose something unintentionally, so long as you approach them politely and reasonably with the issue.

The WiiViewer has a video up now about a charging station, and in it he mentions that his previous charging station destroyed his Wiimotes. Even though it was a third-party product and Nintendo had nothing to do with it, they sent him brand new Wiimotes to replace what he had lost for no charge, and they even rushed the shipping so he wouldn't be without the Wii for long.

For all the guff people give Nintendo about customer service sometimes, I've never had anything but helpful dealings with them, and I've definitely heard more confirmable stories about them going above and beyond than I have about them shafting their customers.

Yeah, Nintendo's pretty helpful about all that. Good customer service.

Now wouldn't it be nice if you really could dress Curly Brace in Shantae garb in Cave Story 3D? Perhaps, we should suggest this to Nicalis?

Yeah, Nintendo has great support
When I was younger the battery cover on my gameboy color broke off and my mom called the number, they gave us an address to go to. When we got there they gave us 3 battery covers for free in case any of them broke
